Course winner in 2023. Good second in Kempton Grade 2 in January but tailed off on both subsequent outings, jumping erratically in the Ryanair at Cheltenham in March. Has since had a breathing operation but unproven at this trip.

Very useful chaser who landed handicap at Cheltenham (27f) last November and posted a respectable second in 4-runner Rowland Meyrick at Wetherby over Christmas. Off 6 months, solid third on Flat at Pontefract (2¼m, heavy) 18 days ago. Not out of things back in this sphere.
Took his form to another level last season when his 3 wins included the Rehearsal at Newcastle and Rowland Meyrick at Wetherby. Signed off with a good third of 13 in the Freebooter over C&D (good to soft) in April and must enter calculations on his return.
Landed 25f Cheltenham novice on reappearance last season and posted some good efforts after, including when fifth in the Ultima at Cheltenham. Jumped poorly when well held in Freebooter over C&D final run but can bounce back given his good record fresh. The choice of Dingle from the yard's quartet.
Much improved sent over fences last season and signed off with victory in 16-runner Scottish Grand National at Ayr (4m, heavy) in April. Up 7 lb but effective at this shorter trip and this 6-y-o second-season chaser can't be dismissed.
Likeable sort who gained a third success of last season at Ascot (3m) in February and continued his progress with third of 21 in listed handicap chase at Punchestown (3m, good) in May. The choice of Harry Cobden here so very much one to consider.
Won last year's renewal (when at Wincanton). Lightly campaigned subsequently but good efforts when fourth in 3m handicaps at Sandown and Kempton before taking an early fall back at Kempton (3m, good) in March.
Landed a chasing hat-trick in 2024/25 (including the Grand Sefton here) but failed to fire in a light 2025/26 campaign, falling quite heavily eleventh in handicap chase at Newbury (23f, good) in March. Has since undergone a breathing operation.
Landed a 5-timer in 2024/25. Better than ever in first-time cheekpieces when wide-margin winner of Grimthorpe Chase at Doncaster in February but pulled up in handicap at Punchestown (31f, good) only subsequent outing in May. Bounce back needed.
Likeable sort who jumped well in front when resuming winning ways at Uttoxeter in July. Not so fluent but still posted a good second at Ffos Las (3m, soft) 23 days ago. No forlorn hope.
Failed to win for Dylan Cunha but impressed for new yard (on back of a breathing operation) when bagging 9-runner handicap at Cheltenham (25f, good to soft) 13 days ago. Hiked up 7 lb but travelled powerfully there and a major player once more.
Struck twice over fences last season upon a tongue tie being fitted, including Great Yorkshire Chase at Doncaster (3m) in January. Pulled up in listed handicap chase at Punchestown (3m, good) in May. Record fresh suggests he might need this.

Forecasts
Here Comes Georgie (5/2), Montregard (5/1), Leave Of Absence (11/2), Kap Vert (15/2), Konfusion (8/1), King Turgeon (12/1), Dartmoor Pirate (14/1), Master Chewy (16/1), Marble Sands (16/1), Hold Your Fort (16/1), Jasmin De Grugy (20/1), Gustavian (25/1)
HERE COMES GEORGIE proved another fine advert for the sublime training skills of Dan Skelton at Cheltenham recently and can make light of a 7 lb rise for that strong-travelling success. Anthony Honeyball has an excellent recent record in this (when usually at Wincanton) and his Leave of Absence could prove the chief threat and the pick of his quartet. Montregard, Kap Vert and Konfusion all have plenty to recommend them too.
