Better than ever when making a winning return from 12 weeks off at Uttoxeter last month, that sharp 2m ideal. Didn't go with anything like the same zest under a penalty at Hexham just 6 days later but it would be no surprise to see him return to form here.
Tumbled in the weights last season and built on his reappearance to capitalise in emphatic style in 5-runner event at Kelso (17f, good to soft) 10 days ago. 9 lb higher here but remains well treated on old form provided he's in the same mood.
Flat winner who has had a stop-start time of things over fences, offering a bit to work on prior to departing on his first outing in the sphere for 22 months at Hexham recently (held in fifth when unseated last). Needs to build on that here.
Six-time course winner (hurdles/fences). Made hard work of capitalising on a falling mark in a first-time visor on return to hurdles (2m) here last month and shaped better than the bare result back up in trip when fifth of 8 at this venue 11 days later. Switches back to fences.
Opened his account in novice handicap chase here in November 2024 and belatedly added to that from a career-low mark to win for the first time over hurdles in 8-runner event at this course (2½m, good) last month. Just 2 lb higher back chasing but his profile suggests a follow-up is unlikely.
Dual winner over fences last season (including over C&D) but just the one notable effort this campaign. Back chasing but others more appealing.
Built on a couple of runner-up efforts to notch a rare win in 2m handicap chase at Worcester in August, holding on gamely. Shaped as if still in top form until Cartmel's marathon run-in caught him out later that month but excuses harder to come by over C&D next time. Freshened up since.
It's now over 3 years since his sole success, which came over hurdles in Ireland. However, he's found some consistency of late, most recently when second of 4 at Stratford (17f, good to soft) last month. Place claims again.

Forecasts
Treaty Boy (13/8), Prospect House (11/2), Applejack Poet (7/1), Getaway Jewel (8/1), Clean Getaway (8/1), Natural Ability (8/1), Huit Reflets (10/1), Langton Wold (10/1)
TREATY BOY capitalised on his much reduced mark at Kelso 10 days ago and remaining well treated on old form from 9 lb higher, Stuart Coltherd's 9-y-o looks to have an excellent chance of following up. He gets the nod over Prospect House, who possibly found Hexham coming too soon last time so can get back on track. Applejack Poet looks best of the rest.
