Maiden hurdler who has proved a different proposition sent chasing, cheekpieces on when scoring readily in maiden at Kilbeggan (2½m) and novice at Gowran (3m, good to soft) recently. Interesting prospect now handicapping over this longer trip.
Off the mark in this sphere at Wexford and posted his best effort yet when runner-up in 3m Cork Grade 3 novice last season. Below that level in valuable handicaps and Grade 3 novice since, including when last seen in May. Bounce back is needed.
Won Ulster National at Downpatrick (extended 3½m) in March but has followed that with 2 poor efforts, pulled up in handicap chase at Punchestown (31f, good) in May. Needs to take a big step forward.
Came good over fences in a Naas maiden in December and posted a good fourth in Grand National Trial at Punchestown (27.3f, heavy) in February. Pulled up both runs since though at Cheltenham and Fairyhouse so has questions to answer on his return.
Fairly useful hurdler. Won a Kilbeggan maiden chase in June and back on track in a first-time tongue tie (retained) when second of 6 in minor chase at Sligo (21f, good) 32 days ago. Needs to reproduce it over this much longer trip.
Seasoned campaigner in valuable staying handicaps. Best effort for present yard when runner-up at Limerick (3m) last October. Only ninth of 11 in handicap chase there (3m, good to soft) 2 weeks ago. More is required.
Fairly useful winning staying hurdler. Made a successful chasing debut at Punchestown (3m) in June and backed it up with a good second of 6 to Fou De Toi in novice chase at Gowran (3m, good to soft) since. Blinkers replace cheekpieces now and not out of things on handicap debut up in trip.
Left hurdles form well behind when making a winning debut in this sphere at Punchestown in January. Pulled up at Navan after but back on track with second of 7 in handicap chase at Limerick (25f, heavy) in March. Still low mileage so no forlorn hope on his return.
Runner-up in 2024 Leinster National. Clearly hasn't been easiest to train since and came in a remote seventh of 11 in handicap chase at Limerick (3m, good to soft) 14 days ago. Blinkers go on for first time (replace cheekpieces) here.
Won 3m handicap hurdles at Wexford and Bellewstown in 2025 for E. J. O’Grady. Has shown promise on both his chasing runs of late, third of 6 in novice at Fairyhouse (21f, good) on latter occasion. This much longer trip looks right up his street now going into handicaps. Interesting.

Forecasts
Fou De Toi (7/4), Quantum Quest (6/1), Le Coq Hardi (7/1), Weveallbeencaught (7/1), You Oughta Know (8/1), Prends Garde A Toi (8/1), Born Braver (10/1), Banter At The Bar (10/1), Our Soldier (20/1), Positive Thinker (25/1)
FOU DE TOI hasn't looked back since sent over fences and with this longer trip also a likely plus he is fancied to complete a quick hat-trick. Both Our Soldier and Quantum Quest have also been shaping as though this marathon distance will show them in a much better light though and should ensure Willie Mullins' upwardly-mobile young chaser doesn't have things all his own way in this intriguing handicap.
