Off the mark in points at the second attempt in January, but offered little on Rules debut when well held in maiden at Fairyhouse (2m) the following month. Has work to do up in trip for his return.
Showed the benefit of his initial experience under Rules when battling well to land a bumper at Limerick in March. Failed to repeat that effort when well held at Punchestown, but this longer distance could suit as he goes hurdling after 6 months off.
Has progressed with each of his 5 starts over hurdles, closing all the way to the line when ½-length second of 18 in maiden at Gowran (2m) in March. Leading contender with this step up in trip promising to suit.
Back in maiden company, quickly bounced back to form when runner-up at Cork in May (3m). Reported to be blowing hard post-race when pulled up at Wexford next time, but no surprise to see him thereabouts after a break.
Well-held fourth sole outing in points and made novicey mistakes when pulled up in maiden at this course on hurdles bow in July. Blinkers now reached for.
No better than mid-division in bumpers, tailed off at Roscommon on latest outing last month. Faces a tough ask as he starts off over hurdles.
Caught the eye on hurdling debut and, after a couple of lesser efforts (back in a bumper on second occasion), he showed more than previously when fourth of 20 in maiden at this course (17f) 19 days ago. Task is now to build on latest run.
Modest form in a trio of bumpers last year, making first run since leaving William Harvey when fourth of 12 at Kilbeggan (19f) on final outing. Off 13 months ahead of hurdling debut. Watch for market clues with yard also running Bois d'Angos.
Plenty of stamina in pedigree and looked one for longer term when sixth of 14 in maiden hurdle at Killarney on debut in May.
Telescope gelding. Dam, maiden hurdler/chaser (stayed 2¾m), half-sister to useful hurdler (stayed 2¾m) Hirapour. Yard not known for winning hurdling debutants.
Point winner at the third attempt but only sixth of 10 in maiden at Fairyhouse (2½m) on hurdling debut 20 days ago. However, she could well leave that effort behind for her leading yard, which won this race last year with a subsequent Grade 1 winner.
Third on her sole start in points in May, but sent hurdling she was well beaten in maiden at Ballinrobe in August. Likely to need more time.

BULGADEN CASTLE has been going the right way over hurdles so far, going close at Gowran when last seen, and he could be ready to get off the mark as he goes up in trip. Doctor Elvis disappointed on his latest outing but is feared most given a break since, ahead of the Willie Mullins-trained Rebel Reba.
