Isn't the force he was when emphatically winning a Class 2 handicap over C&D in March 2025. That's reflected in his mark, though, and he was well backed prior to being pulled out on account of the ground (good to firm) here last month. Interesting but stable conditional prefers Lets Mingle.

Two-time Perth winner who bumped into one when runner-up in this corresponding event 12 months ago. Did all she could when beaten 10½ lengths (behind a couple of next-time-out winners) at Perth (3m) latest. Interesting for yard operating at 23% strike rate so far in October (better than the norm).
Front runner who landed handicaps at Musselburgh/Newcastle in 2024/5 season. Didn't pull up any trees in a couple of Flat starts on the back of an 18-month absence and offered little back hurdling at Chepstow (3m, soft) last time.
Veteran who has plenty of creditable efforts in defeat since completing a handicap double at Ayr last spring. Finished ahead of Bold Light when 6½-length third in a race with more substance at Perth (2½m) last time. Yard in good form but longer trip a question mark, especially given forecast rain.
Nearly made it a quick-fire Cartmel double for the second consecutive season in May. Found life tougher off his revised mark there this summer. Has presumably been freshened up ahead of an autumn/winter campaign, and should be more competitive off 2 lb lower in this company.
Revitalised by a switch of stables when winning back-to-back staying handicaps at Perth in April/May. Ran better than previous 2 starts when 11½-length fourth following 12 weeks away at Market Rasen (23f) latest. A 1 lb reprieve probably isn't enough, though, and may face competition for the lead.
Solid third behind some classier rivals here in April. Runner-up to Ebselysees at Perth prior to going one better (dead-heated) in 2½m course handicap the following month. Probably some mitigation for not firing either start since (likely needed his comeback last time). Danger if back on song.
Looked one for fences when down the field in novice/maiden hurdles last winter. Showed an ungainly side when 11 lengths last of 7 on handicap bow at Musselburgh latest start in March. Chasing probably beckons, for all this greater test of stamina is unlikely to harm on return.
Form has gone the wrong way since a successful chasing debut at Perth (3m, heavy) 12 months ago, however, this is likely to be the first time he's encountered testing conditions since. Isn't a complete no-hoper from out of the weights (still 3 lb lower than his winning chase mark).

Forecasts
Summergrounds (15/8), Bold Light (3/1), Evenwood Sonofagun (11/2), Ebselysees (15/2), Lets Mingle (8/1), Berwick Law (10/1), Burgundy Man (16/1), Maillot Blanc (25/1), Punxsutawney Phil (33/1)
LETS MINGLE finished second in this corresponding race last year and won't bump into such a progressive one this time around. She could be worth chancing over stablemate Bold Light, who has at least won on soft ground, while Maillot Blanc is a danger on the pick of his course form.
