Previously none too consistent but he's developed a good strike rate over fences, winning 4 of his 7 completed starts, and he arrives here on the back-to-back wins at Worcester and Uttoxeter (3m, good). Has another 7 lb rise to contend with here and his jumping remains a slight concern.

Useful hurdler who resumed his chase career with victory in 2½m Aintree handicap in December. Failed to get home in Welsh National at Chepstow before being let down by his jumping here (20.5f) in January and back at Aintree when last seen in April. Still on a feasible mark, though.
Back at the top of his game when runner-up at C&D on New Year's Day but not in the same form when bidding for a second successive win in the Ladbrokes Trophy at Kempton next time. Went well enough until his stamina gave way in the Scottish National and he's respected sporting first-time blinkers.
Useful chaser at best for Gordon Elliott but not huge amounts to be positive about from his spell with Ian Patrick Donoghue and he's opposable on the back of another stable switch. Cheekpieces back on.
Still a fairly useful chaser last season, excelling himself when third in the Plate at the Cheltenham Festival. Offered little in Haydock handicap hurdle on final start for John McConnell in May or recent yard debut in that sphere at Worcester. Probably one for later in the season.
Made it 3-5 for his current yard this season in 10-runner handicap chase at Kelso (21f) in March, jumping well as usual and showing a good attitude. This likeable front runner rates a big player once more after a 7-month break.
Hurdles winner last summer for Patrick Neville but in-and-out after joining Dylan Cunha, though his second at Doncaster (from a 4 lb higher mark) last November would make him of serious interest now representing the Skelton team. Has had a breathing operation ahead of this step up in trip.
Quick off the mark for new yard when winning at Worcester and at Uttoxeter earlier this season. Kept busy since and got back on track after a couple of subdued efforts when second of 6 in handicap chase (10/3) at Worcester (23f, good to soft) 17 days ago. This is tougher with tongue strap now on.
Progressive stayer last season, getting off the mark in 29f handicap chase at Windsor in January. Backed it up with an excellent third in the Grand National Trial at Haydock and shaped much better than being pulled up would suggest in the Midlands National. Seems at his best over further, though.

Forecasts
Here Comes Georgie (3/1), Diamond Dealer (7/2), Uncle Bert (5/1), Katate Dori (15/2), Moon D'orange (9/1), Karnaval Point (10/1), Mt Fugi Park (10/1), Shannon Royale (16/1), Neo King (18/1)
KATATE DORI represents a yard that often has their horses cherry-ripe for their early season targets and is 3 lb lower than when going close at C&D on New Year's Day, so gets the verdict. Diamond Dealer had a very good time of things last season for Dan Skelton and has to be respected on his comeback, whilst Here Comes Georgie rates as an interesting recruit for that powerful yard.
