Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden Hurdle

Off time: 16:20 | Winning time: 6m 45.10s

Colossal Impact¹⁵

Age: 5| Weight: 11-4| J: Ross Sugrue⁽⁷⁾| T: P J Rothwell

9/1

Backed at long odds and showed plenty when third of 9 in well-run Navan bumper in March. Not so good on recent return at Tramore but that will have blown the cobwebs away and he's an intriguing prospect for hurdles over staying trips.

Form: 3-4

Fuusland¹⁴

Age: 5| Weight: 11-4| J: Danny Gilligan| T: G Elliott| OR: 100

10/3

Showed a bit more than previously when second in weak 6-runner novice hurdle at Downpatrick (2¾m) 14 days ago, pulling clear of remainder. This is tougher.

Form: U452

Rememberwhat³³

Age: 6| Weight: 11-4| J: Ben Kennedy⁽⁷⁾| T: P G Fahey

9/2

Standout effort when 1¼-length second of 5 on hurdling debut at Kilbeggan (25f) in August. Has a shout on that form but he's uncertain to reproduce it.

Form: 462D7

Union Station¹⁷⁴

Age: 7| Weight: 11-4| J: Keith Donoghue| T: G P Cromwell| OR: 120

4/6

Maiden (0-16) who ran well set a lot to do when fourth in the National Hunt Challenge Cup Novices' Handicap at the Cheltenham Festival. Has some solid novice hurdle form and this could be a good opening on his return.

Form: P2U446-

Leading Rose^p1¹⁸

Age: 6| Weight: 10-11| J: Niall Moore⁽⁵⁾| T: William P Murphy

66/1

Off the mark at the twelfth attempt in points in May. Always behind on recent hurdles debut at Fairyhouse. Steps up in trip with cheekpieces fitted now.

Forecasts

Union Station (4/6), Its Time For A Run (7/4), Fuusland (10/3), Rememberwhat (9/2), Colossal Impact (9/1), Pacy Macie (25/1), Leading Rose (66/1), Minella Maverick (100/1)

ITS TIME FOR A RUN was much improved when second at Fairyhouse 3 weeks ago and there is more to come again from the promising novice. Up in trip, he gets the vote over frustrating chaser Union Station.
