Fair bumper performer in Ireland and similar form when placed in maiden hurdles in the first half of 2024. Plenty of ability remains judged efforts since returning from a 13-month absence in December and he needs considering after 7 months off.

Improved sporting a first-time tongue strap when second of 16 in handicap hurdle at Clonmel (2½m, good) 17 days ago. Drop back in trip unlikely to be an issue and he's expected to be bang there for yard that has good record when visiting Britain.
Shaped encouragingly on debut when runner-up in a bumper at Bangor last spring. Well held both subsequent outings in that sphere and looked one for handicaps when soundly held in 2 maiden hurdles in the spring.
Irish bumper winner in December 2024. Had wind surgery prior to finishing well held in Ascot listed bumper on return for Warren Greatrex after a year off and then offered little on hurdling debut in March. Since changed hands for just £8,000.
Modest form at best in 2 bumpers last winter and finished only ninth of 10 in novice hurdle at Perth (2m, good to soft) on hurdles bow 25 days ago.
Modest form in a trio of bumpers during second half of last season and he was below that level when tenth of 14 in a Fontwell novice on hurdles bow when last seen in May.
Shaped as if better for the run but still surpassed the form of a couple of low-key efforts in Plumpton handicaps last year when fourth of 9 in novice hurdle at Cartmel (17f, good) 50 days ago.
Shaped encouragingly when runner-up on Market Rasen debut in December. Not seen to best effect next time and ran to a similar level as on debut when fifth in a stronger race at Newbury. Makes hurdles debut after 7-month break in first-time hood for yard with excellent strike rate at this track.

Forecasts
Codger's Rock (2/1), Can't Resist It (5/2), Karate Kid (5/1), Lady Boujee (11/2), Hay Max (13/2), Pink 'n Purple (22/1), Moscow Star (25/1), Master Jack (250/1)
Irish raider CODGER'S ROCK makes most appeal on the back of his Clonmel second. Can't Resist It showed enough last season to think he should also be in the mix, whilst Lady Boujee rates as an interesting hurdles newcomer for Dan Skelton.
