Did well for Alastair Ralph last season, winning at Ascot in November and Warwick in March. Going with enthusiasm when falling in a handicap hurdle at Hereford (2½m, good) when last seen in May. Makes debut for yard that previously specialised in point-to-pointers/hunter chasers.

Enjoyed a prolific summer, completing a 7-timer over hurdles/fences across little more than 3 weeks at Market Rasen in June (reportedly stuck into there). Missed 10 weeks after that and was found to have bled when pulling up at Stratford in August. In top hands.

Error-prone sort has fallen a long way in weights since last success in November 2024 but has regained some form of late, bumping into a handicap blot when a clear second of 12 in handicap hurdle at Uttoxeter (2½m, good) last month. Commands serious respect with yard remaining in good form.

Won 3 times over hurdles in early-2025, the latest over 3¼m here in April. Shaped better than the result in 2 starts last autumn and made his return over an inadequate 2m at Chepstow last week. Others still preferred despite return to further. Headgear left off.

Has slipped in the weights for current connections and wasn't disgraced when ninth of 15 in handicap hurdle (125/1) at Chepstow (19f, good to soft) 8 days ago, that a much better race than he need contest. Looks yard first string on jockey bookings

Hit-and-miss performer. Tumbled down the weights since winning back-to-back staying handicaps last summer and failed to build on a mildly encouraging effort at Uttoxeter when well held at Chepstow last week.

Forecasts
Beorma (10/11), Norman Fletcher (13/8), Mount Anglesby (6/1), Faded Fantasy (33/1), Coconut Twist (33/1), Top Coeur (50/1)
NORMAN FLETCHER is 11 lb below his last winning mark and arrives after bumping into an unexposed one at Uttoxeter last month, so gets the nod. Mount Anglesby held his form well last season and is respected starting out for a new yard, whilst Beorma returned amiss last time but would have a say if back to the sort of prolific form she was showing during the summer.
