Bumper winner who quickly reached a useful level over hurdles in 2025/26, successful twice in maiden/novice company before a fine fifth in County Hurdle at Cheltenham. Hooded, gave best only late on when second in Aintree Grade 1 final start and he's a smashing prospect now chasing on return.
7-y-o who quickly found his feet upon returning from an absence last season, gaining a third hurdles win since December when landing big-field series final at Musselburgh (17f) in March. No reason why he won't make his mark in this discipline and he's respected.
Third only start in points and made it 2 wins from first 3 starts over hurdles at Sedgefield (17f) in March. Much better than bare result with a chance-ending mistake on handicap debut at Sandown on final start and he remains unexposed now attentions switch to larger obstacles.
Bumper winner who reached a fairly useful level over hurdles during 2025/26, doubling his tally in a Huntingdon novice in March. Far from disgraced when ninth in big-field Aintree handicap in April and type to make his mark as a chaser (every chance when falling sole start in points). Hood back on.
Maiden hurdle winner (15f) in January and acquitted himself with plenty of credit in stronger company thereafter, fourth in Fred Winter at Cheltenham in March before finishing third in big-field handicap at Aintree (16.5f) in April. Interesting now chasing with leading yard amongst the winners.

Forecasts
Sinnatra (6/4), Pourquoi Pas Papa (9/4), Wandering Ego (9/2), Light Fandango (7/1), Desertmore News (10/1)
SINNATRA has to concede chunks of weight all round but he sets a good standard here on his achievements over hurdles as a novice, not least his excellent second in Grade 1 company at Aintree during the spring. He's every inch the type to take to chasing and is fancied to prove up to the task. Pourquoi Pas Papa had a really productive first season over hurdles and goes chasing with the Paul Nicholls team among the winners so he's next best, ahead of Light Fandango.
