10/1

15/2, good second of 11 on belated handicap hurdle debut at Roscommon (3m, good to soft) 15 days ago, closing all way to line. Considered off 3 lb higher.

Slane Hill^b¹¹

Age: 9| Weight: 11-11| J: Sean Flanagan| T: B Connell| OR: 119

18/1

Winner at Navan in late 2024. Lightly raced and not added to that success since but entitled to be sharper for a recent comeback run at Gowran. Enters calculations.

Form: 3/3450-7

Arctic Flame^p,t¹¹

Age: 6| Weight: 11-7| J: Jack Kennedy| T: P T Foley| OR: 115

12/1

Scored over hurdles at Cork in July. Creditable fourth of 14 in handicap hurdle at Gowran (2½m, good to soft) 11 days ago.

Form: 5-216P4

Killowen House¹⁹

Age: 6| Weight: 11-4| J: Danny Gilligan| T: P J Gilligan| OR: 112

14/1

Form: 373427

Golden Temple^p¹⁸

Age: 6| Weight: 11-2| J: Sam Ewing| T: N Meade| OR: 110

28/1

Very much a mixed bag since ending a lengthy losing run in handicap chase at Kilbeggan in July. Others are preferred again.

Form: 6412P8

Howdoyalikeherhome^b,t²⁵

Age: 7| Weight: 11-0| J: Alex Harvey| T: J C McConnell| OR: 108

80/1

Only win came in handicap hurdle at Downpatrick (2¾m) in April last year. Made an inauspicious start for new yard after leaving Gordon Elliott when pulled up over fences at Downpatrick 25 days ago.

Form: 8F044P

Getaway Charlie^p¹¹

Age: 10| Weight: 10-13| J: Mr D Doyle⁽⁵⁾| T: T Doyle| OR: 107| BF| CD

12/1

C&D winner. Latest win in hurdle at Roscommon in September. 7/2, creditable fifth of 20 in handicap hurdle at Gowran (2½m, good to soft) 11 days ago. Looks competitive on form.

Form: 00-4015

Labondance^p1,t²³

Age: 5| Weight: 10-11| J: Donagh Meyler| T: E Mullins| OR: 105

20/1

Fair form in France. Below that level when fourth in a pair of maiden hurdles for Emmet Mullins in recent months but may fare better now handicapping. All the more interesting if backed for last year's winning yard.

Form: 583F-44

Latopix^b,t²⁴

Age: 5| Weight: 10-10| J: Darragh O'Keeffe| T: H De Bromhead| OR: 104

18/1

Blinkered and tongue tied first time, good fourth of 15 in handicap hurdle at Navan (21f, good to soft) 24 days ago, seeing it out well considering she was lit up in the headgear. Player if she can build on that.

Form: 38-22P4

Accustomed²⁴

Age: 6| Weight: 10-8| J: Jordan Gainford| T: E D Delany| OR: 102

9/1

Winner at Bellewstown (3m) in July. 11/1, bit below form when seventh of 13 over 2m at Navan 24 days ago but this trip is more suitable.

Form: 2P0-517

Lord Ffrench¹⁸

Age: 6| Weight: 10-8| J: Miss N Lockhead Anderson⁽⁷⁾| T: S Curling| OR: 102

12/1

Sole success came in a weak Sligo maiden this time last year. Some respectable efforts in handicaps this season but faded into a below-par seventh at Listowel latest.

Form: 6-86747

Warmer Days Ahead^t,v⁴⁰

Age: 7| Weight: 10-7| J: Phillip Enright| T: O McKiernan| OR: 101

5/1

Reacted well to a visor (retained) to make a winning reappearance at Kilbeggan (19f, good to soft) last month. The form has been boosted so a 6 lb rise looks manageable.

Form: 3689P-1

Smackwater Jack⁸

Age: 12| Weight: 10-5| J: Daniel King| T: Mrs D Foster| OR: 99| C

18/1

C&D winner in June who added to his tally over 3m at Fairyhouse (good) 8 days ago. This veteran should remain competitive off 5 lb higher.

Form: 132991

Pilgrims Walk^p³²

Age: 4| Weight: 10-2| J: Conor Clarke⁽⁷⁾| T: P J Rothwell| OR: 98

9/1

Fair maiden. 4/1, creditable fourth of 14 in handicap hurdle at Ballinrobe (2¾m, good) 32 days ago. Less exposed than the majority of these.

Form: 080-234

Free Flow¹¹

Age: 6| Weight: 10-0| J: Sarah Kavanagh⁽⁷⁾| T: Edward F Power| OR: 94

50/1

Eleven runs since last win in 2025. 14/1, bit below form when eighth of 13 in handicap hurdle at Gowran (2½m, good to soft) 11 days ago. Plenty to find on form.

Form: 90-6408

Live To Laugh¹⁸

Age: 7| Weight: 10-0| J: Ethan O'Sullivan⁽⁷⁾| T: Peter Fahey| OR: 94

3/1

Won twice over fences at up to 3m in March. Good third of 15 in handicap hurdle at Listowel (2m, good to soft) on reappearance 18 days ago. The fourth at Listowel has won since and he could have a big say back up in trip.

Form: F311P-3

Space Warrior¹¹

Age: 5| Weight: 10-0| J: Sean Cleary-Farrell⁽⁷⁾| T: T Mullins| OR: 93

11/1

Fifteen runs since last win in 2024. Creditable sixth of 20 in handicap at Gowran (2½m, good to soft, 14/1) 11 days ago, faring best of those held up.

Form: P63-996

Forecasts

Live To Laugh (3/1), Warmer Days Ahead (5/1), Pilgrims Walk (9/1), Accustomed (9/1), Milan Forth (10/1), Space Warrior (11/1), Lord Ffrench (12/1), Getaway Charlie (12/1), Arctic Flame (12/1), Killowen House (14/1), Smackwater Jack (18/1), Slane Hill (18/1), Latopix (18/1), Labondance (20/1), Donnie Devito (22/1), Golden Temple (28/1), Free Flow (50/1), Howdoyalikeherhome (80/1)

LIVE TO LAUGH's reappearance third at Listowel suggests he should have a race in him from his lower hurdle mark, particularly as the form has been franked by the fourth winning since. Warmer Days Ahead has had the form of his latest Kilbeggan success boosted on a few occasions and is second choice. Milan Forth and Labondance complete the shortlist.
