Point winner. Shaped well when runner-up in novice at Carlisle on hurdling bow in February. Well held both starts since but this former point scorer could get his career back on track now handicap chasing after a breathing operation. Also wears first-time tongue tie.

15/8

Modest maiden hurdler but already a better chaser, getting off the mark at the second attempt at Plumpton (17, good) in April. Good second at Hereford the following month. Returns from break with his yard in really good form.

Form: 87521-2

L'empire Vert^t¹⁸³

16/1

Notched a second career win in 11-runner handicap chase at Ffos Las (19f, soft) in April but got to be a chance he'll need this first outing since.

15/2

Course handicap hurdle winner who dominated a small-field race at Huntingdon in May on her second outing over fences. 4 lb higher in a slightly deeper race now and hasn't been seen for 140 days.

Form: 12345-1

Zero Tolerance¹⁴³

Age: 9| Weight: 11-10| J: Adam Wedge| T: Mrs C Williams| OR: 96

Form: 2334-32

Galeforcechopper^h,t¹⁷

Age: 5| Weight: 11-9| J: Liam Harrison| T: D Brace| OR: 95| CD

50/1

Made all in 2m course maiden hurdle last month. Third in a Plumpton handicap hurdle 16 days later but ran poorly switched to fences over C&D since.

Form: 9-6913P

Kally Des Bruyeres^t¹⁷

Age: 6| Weight: 11-2| J: J J Burke| T: David Dennis| OR: 88| D

10/3

Dual winner over hurdles who justified strong support on second chase start at Market Rasen in April, with the form franked by the runner-up since. Shaped as if better for run after 5 months off when fifth of 9 over C&D 17 days ago. Should be spot on with that behind him.

Form: 5141-F5

Most Wanted^v³⁵

25/1

Forecasts

Away For The Night (15/8), Kally Des Bruyeres (10/3), Zero Tolerance (7/2), Ballyhiho (15/2), Double Indemnity (12/1), L'empire Vert (16/1), Dynamite Defense (18/1), Most Wanted (25/1), Galeforcechopper (50/1)

A recent C&D outing should have set up KALLY DES BRUYERES nicely for this and he can show he's still on a favourable mark. Alex Hales has his team in great nick so the returning Away For The Night may provide the chief threat. A point win suggests Double Indemnity may take to fences and he's next on the list.
