Cast Novices' Limited Handicap Chase (GBB Race)

Capped a promising novice hurdle season with a useful victory at Kempton (21f) on final start for Fergal O'Brien in March. Type to do well over fences and looks an interesting big-money purchase (£160,000) for a yard that is still going well (40% strike rate so far in 2026/27).

Fairly useful sort. Shaped well in competitive handicaps at Cheltenham/Aintree on his first 2 starts for present yard. Given a considerate introduction to chasing at Uttoxeter (2m) in June, finishing well-held third over an inadequate trip. Should be capable of better back up in distance.

Improving 6-y-o. Scored twice over hurdles here (including over this trip) at the start of the season. Since taken to fences like a duck to water, making it 2-2 over fences with another enthusiastic all-the-way win at Cartmel (17f). Looks capable of making it a hat-trick.

Rattled off a quick-fire 5-timer in May/June (4 wins here, including 3 over C&D). Confirmed himself back in form (again flattered by proximity to the winner) when 1½-length second in small-field chase at Sedgefield (21f). Type that could benefit from cheekpieces, too.
