Lope Y Fernandez colt found some minor progress from his debut when sixth of 10 in maiden at Southwell (6f) 50 days ago and a repeat of that would give him claims in a thin race.

Starspangledbanner gelding went off 9/2 but was only eighth of 12 in novice at this C&D on debut 20 days ago. Will need to improve.

Blue Point gelding. Offered something to work on first time up when fourth of 10 in a Southwell maiden (6f) in August but was some way below that level when filling the same place in a 12-runner novice at C&D 20 days ago. Hood on first time.

Eqtidaar gelding. 300/1, ninth of 12 in novice at this C&D on debut 20 days ago, very slowly away.

Oasis Dream filly. 25/1 and hooded, last of 9 in novice at Lingfield (7f, AW) on debut. Off 168 days.

Starman filly was very well backed (10/11 from 3/1) but shaped as if needing the experience when fourth of 5 in maiden at Yarmouth (7f, firm) on debut 82 days ago. Open to progress, with drop back to 6f not looking a bad thing, either.
