French recruit (runner-up over fences) who made it third time lucky for Donald McCain in 2m Catterick maiden hurdle on New Year's Day. Well below par in 3 handicaps subsequently (tried in blinkers last time) so plenty more is needed back chasing on his return.
Landed 2m handicap hurdle at Uttoxeter in June. Runner-up on 2m chasing debut at Market Rasen next time but below par back hurdling both runs since. Could still do better back over fences.
Ended the 2024/25 season badly out of sorts and offered little both runs at Worcester in June. Makes a belated chase debut and hard to fancy.
Strong traveller and seems a reformed character (formerly moody) this season, easily going 3-4 in 6-runner handicap chase at Worcester (2m, good) last month. Up a further 8 lb but another bold bid is on the cards.
Has made a positive start over fences for current yard, landing the odds at Hexham (2m) in June. Set plenty to do when a good second of 6 in handicap chase at Cartmel (17f, good to soft) last time so he must enter calculations.
Much improved over hurdles this summer, scoring (over 2m) at Stratford and Newton Abbot. Not discredited given he was set a lot to do when fifth of 6 at Bangor (17f, good) last time. Very much one to consider starting out over fences.
On a losing sequence but he arrives in good nick, third of 8 in handicap chase at Sedgefield (2m, good) 25 days ago when needing a stronger gallop. Runner-up in this 12 months ago off a 6 lb higher mark and a likely player in a change of headgear. Stablemate of Tropical Talent.
Ended last season with 2m success at Catterick in December. Has steadily found his form this year and comes here on the back of a good third of 8 in handicap chase at Market Rasen (17f, good to firm) in July. Not out of things.
It's now thirteen runs since his last victory but he signalled he is ready to go in again when second of 8 in handicap chase at Sedgefield (2m, good) 25 days ago, collared only late on having made an error at the last. Weighted to go one better.

Ask A Sainte (9/4), Holy Legend (5/1), Ghasham (5/1), Playful Fox (11/2), Tropical Talent (13/2), Dexter (17/2), Reteti (10/1), Prospect House (14/1), Inedit D'amour (25/1), Bertie B (40/1)
A case can be made for a few of these but TROPICAL TALENT looked the likely winner until hitting the last at Sedgefield last time and is weighted to make amends here. Holy Legend is enjoying a fine time of it this season and rates the chief threat in his bid for a fourth success from his last 5 outings, while chasing newcomer Playful Fox and the selection's stablemate Dexter can also have a say in this competitive handicap.
