Has yet to match his fairly useful Flat form (for Dermot Weld) over hurdles. Ran up to best in this sphere when fifth of 10 in novice at Market Rasen (21f, good to firm) in August. Steps back down in trip and has the cheekpieces reapplied.

Fair hurdler who was backed at long odds when landing 15-runner handicap at Ayr (2m, soft, 18/1) by 11 lengths to Lance Les Des when last seen in April with this jockey in the saddle. Has gone well fresh before and looks sure to take all the beating back in novice company.

Third on all 6 of her starts, including last 3 over hurdles. Shaped with promise at Perth last time but has a bit to find with her older stablemate.

Verdict

TUPPENCE is the pick at the weights and is hard to oppose. Her stablemate Luna Grace may prove next best.
