A dual winner at around 1½m for Ben Brookhouse in 2025 who posted just about his best effort for present yard when second at Chester (1¼m) in July. Failed to see his race out when sixth over hurdles in novice at Bangor (17f) 3 weeks ago but better showing anticipated back on Flat.
Perfect start for new yard with cheekpieces refitted when successful at Ripon in May and placed next 3 starts over this trip, latterly when second over C&D in July. Patently failed to stay upped to 17f at Pontefract next time but given plenty of time ahead of this and bounce back likely.
Irish raider who scored over this trip from 7 lb lower at Tramore last summer and comes here in rude health, registering comfortable back-to-back hurdle victories at Cork/Tramore last month. Respected returned to this sphere in hat-trick bid.
St Mark's Basilica filly from an excellent family. Progressed with each start to date, readily off the mark at third attempt in 3-runner Carlisle novice (11f) 6 weeks ago. That form reads very well and she commands plenty of respect now handicapping with prospect of more to come.
Confirmed handicap debut promise and did well under the circumstances when off the mark at Wolverhampton (1½m) in August. Had a less-than-ideal trip when fifth at Beverley (heavy) since and unlikely we've seen all he has to offer for good yard.
Quirky sort who still looked a work in progress when gaining first win at Beverley (1½m) in August. Matched that in finishing second both starts since, latterly at Kempton (11f) 7 days ago but his slow starting has to be something of a concern, not least around here.
Lightly-raced 1m juvenile winner for Adrian Keatley. However, yet to scale same heights in trio of starts for new yard this year, albeit racing closer to the pace than ideal when eighth of 11 at Redcar (1¼m, good) 21 days ago. Mark has eased further but stamina to prove on first crack at 1½m.

Forecasts
Wardlaw (1/1), Green Area (9/2), Prince Of Calypso (5/1), Ina Mina (11/2), Secret Beach (18/1), Sea The Power (18/1), Something (33/1)
GREEN AREA's clear-cut success over a now-useful sort at Carlisle 6 weeks ago reads very well and with further progress expected from Charlie Johnston's low-mileage filly, she makes plenty of appeal on handicap debut. Prince Of Calypso had excuses on account of a wide trip at Beverley last time and a better showing is anticipated. Thriving Irish mare Ina Mina and Wardlaw complete the dangers.
