Ambience^t¹³⁵

Age: 2| Weight: 9-2| J: Rowan Scott| T: K P De FoyWS

10/1

11/4 and tongue tied, sixth of 7 in novice at Newmarket (6f, good to firm) on debut in May. Not seen since (has had breathing operation) but seemingly thought capable of better based on her prominence in the betting at Newmarket.

Form: 6

Appassionata¹³

Age: 2| Weight: 9-2| J: L Morris| T: Sir Mark Prescott

250/1

Down the field on all 3 starts and won't be of interest this side of handicaps.

Form: 779

(6)

Majestic Flame³⁰

Age: 2| Weight: 9-2| J: Billy Loughnane| T: R Hughes

11/8

Showed ability when sixth of 13 on 7f debut at Glorious Goodwood and possibly unsuited by a softer surface when well held over 1m there since. Retains potential now switching to all-weather under Loughnane.

Form: 69

(2)

Quintana²⁵

Age: 2| Weight: 9-2| J: Colin Keane| T: Harry Charlton

15/2

33/1, ran to only a modest level when sixth of 8 in maiden at Salisbury (7f, good to soft) on debut 25 days ago. Will need to step up a good deal on that but improvement is possible.

Form: 6

(3)

Rubyroo²⁵

Age: 2| Weight: 9-2| J: Tom Marquand| T: H Palmer

25/1

Supremacy filly who showed plenty to work on amid obvious inexperience when third on Newcastle debut last month but only seventh of 8 on turf at Salisbury since.

Form: 37

(7)

Sax Symbol

Age: 2| Weight: 9-2| J: Callum Shepherd| T: C Johnston

66/1

Foaled March 23. Saxon Warrior half-sister to 1m winner Maid In Kentucky and 6f-1m winner Ritzy. A newcomer to note in the betting for yard that had a first-time-out 2-y-o winner recently.

Form:

(4)

Speed Nation²⁷

Age: 2| Weight: 9-2| J: Oisin Murphy| T: S & E Crisford| OR: 77

5/4

Sioux Nation filly who has improved with each start, finishing length second of 9 over C&D 4 weeks ago.

Form: 762

Forecasts

Speed Nation (5/4), Majestic Flame (11/8), Quintana (15/2), Ambience (10/1), Rubyroo (25/1), Sax Symbol (66/1), Appassionata (250/1)

MAJESTIC FLAME had a possible excuse last time and is given a second chance to confirm her debut promise. Last-time-out C&D second Speed Nation is the obvious danger on form. Ambience is worth a look in the betting back from a breathing operation.
