Maiden pointer who is bred to stay well but stepped up on previous hurdling efforts when 14 lengths second of 11 to First Ascent in 2m maiden at Kilbeggan 23 days ago.

Blue Bresil gelding who did no more than hint at ability when mid-division in a maiden hurdle at Kilbeggan on debut and is probably one for handicaps later on.

Offered little in 3 starts on the level for current yard this summer and has fared no better in 2 outings over hurdles.

€1,600 3-y-o, third foal, dam unraced half-sister to smart hurdler/high-class chaser (2m-23f winner) Hidden Cyclone. Yard are not known for winning debutants.
Showed ability on the Flat and looked set to place on debut for this yard when falling 3 out in maiden hurdle at Killarney last month, only a length down in second at the time. That form has since been boosted by the winner and third this week, and a clear round should see him involved.

Fifth foal: dam (h116), 2¼m-21f hurdle winner (stayed 3m), also 17f-21.6f winner on Flat, half-sister to temperamental bumper winner/fair hurdler (stayed 2¼m) Rathmuck Native. Yard can ready a newcomer, so worth a market check, though pedigree suggests he's likely to need more time and distance.
Shirocco gelding who was runner-up on sole start in points and offered something to work on sent hurdling when 29½ lengths eighth of 16 to Minella Hollow in maiden at Killarney last month. Handicaps over longer trips are likely to be more his bag.

Fifth foal, half-brother to fair hurdler/chase winner Nettuno Italia (2¾m-23f winner, by Imperial Monarch). Dam, point winner/ran twice over hurdles, half-sister to fairly useful 3m hurdle winner Kit Casey.
Bred to stay well and merely looks to be marking his time in maidens until tackling handicaps over 2½m+.

Fairly useful performer at up to 2¼m on the Flat. Won a handicap at Killarney in August and shaped as if still in good form at Down Royal earlier this month. Goes without usual headgear now switched to hurdling but in very good hands and ought to go very close if immediately taking to the task.

Second foal, dam (b65), bumper winner, sister to fairly useful hurdler/useful chaser (stayed 2½m) Longhouse Sale. Small yard yet to train a debut winner.
Blue Bresil filly. Half-sister to poor 2m hurdle winner Marshella. Dam unraced half-sister to smart hurdler (winner around 2m) Cinders And Ashes. Not always fluent when well beaten in maiden hurdle on debut.

Affinisea filly. Failed to complete both starts in points but showed a bit at long odds in a Galway bumper last month (third past the post but subsequently demoted to fourth). Went backwards from that at Tramore 2 weeks later, though. Makes little appeal on hurdling bow.

TRUBSHAW is a 3-time Flat winner and looks to have been found a winnable opportunity on hurdles debut. Je Suis Celebre seemed set to place on hurdling debut before falling and rates the chief threat, with that form since boosted by Golden Handshake and Approval. Lightly-raced Blue Johnl improved last time and is also respected.
