Registered his second win at Hexham in 15-runner handicap in May, running on well for pressure. Seemingly unsuited by track when a bit below that level at Cartmel but looked temperamental back at winning venue in June and he's never been one for maximum faith.
Dual bumper scorer who ran to a fair level on second hurdles start when runner-up in a Southwell maiden in June. Rather expensive to follow since, his jumping an issue but step up in trip will suit and this opening mark really should be within range.
Back to form with third over C&D last month. Confirmed he's not as good over fences these days when never a factor at Kilbeggan last month but this is easier back in Britain and returned to smaller obstacles.
Successful over C&D last summer and off the mark for 2026 when dead-heating at Kelso in May. Can't have been right when pulled up back here a month later and off since.
Seemed to run massively above himself when third of 14 in a maiden chase fitted with cheekpieces at Wexford in June. Definite scope from this mark back hurdling on that form and he's since made an interesting stable switch. Shortlisted back up in distance.
Course regular, winning back-to-back C&D handicaps in July. Looked anchored by revised mark next time before turning in a shocker 17 days ago.
Benefited from the step back up in trip when a ½-length second of 16 in handicap hurdle at Bellewstown (2½m) in August, collared only late by an unexposed rival. Fitted with cheekpieces and way she shaped at Kilbeggan since suggests she's worth a go at this trip.
Cartmel regular, adding to his haul in July 2025. Rather in-and-out since and he tends to struggle away from that venue these days.
Point/bumper winner who made successful switch to hurdling (had been chasing) at Musselburgh in December. Sound third back there 6 weeks later and while off the track since, she's in very capable hands.

Forecasts
Way Maker (3/1), Steps In The Sand (3/1), Broken Ice (9/2), Jetovango (11/2), Reflection Of You (15/2), Wee Alki (14/1), Secret Secret (16/1), Maillot Blanc (22/1), Dalileo (25/1)
WAY MAKER could do with brushing up his jumping but this step up in trip may place less pressure on that department and the strong suspicion is that he's better than his opening mark. Jetovango is very interesting starting out for Triston Davidson, with Broken Ice another to consider.
