Foaled April 4. 50,000 gns 2-y-o, Blue Point gelding. Half-brother to 3 winners, including 11.3f winner Vauntingly and winner up to 1¼m Hype, both useful. Dam, maiden (stayed 1½m), half-sister to very smart sprinter Kingsgate Native. Appeals on paper and one to note in the betting for clues.

Cheap purchase who was sent off at huge odds and always behind following a very slow start when thirteenth of 15 in a Gowran maiden (7f) 3 weeks ago.

Starspangledbanner colt who showed only greenness when not knocked about tenth of 11 in a Curragh maiden (7f) 44 days ago. In top hands though, and he ought to be capable of better.

145,000 gns Lope De Vega colt who produced a promising first effort having been found wanting for know-how early doors when third of 11 in a Curragh maiden (7f) last month, running on. Looks sure to improve from that initial experience and he's fancied to feature.

Promising first effort when considerately-handled fourth (beaten 3 lengths) of 6 at the Curragh (7f). Had worst of the draw but possibly amiss when last of 13 at Goodwood (7f) 52 days ago and he certainly remains with potential for all the application of blinkers tempers enthusiasm to a degree.

€300,000 breeze-up acquisition who matched previous best when keeping on third of 12 in a Galway maiden (7f, soft) 2 weeks ago. Very shrewd stable now reach for a first-time visor and another fancied to be on the premises.

Forecasts

Loughrea N Roll (10/11), Churchill Bond (5/2), All Talk (11/2), Speakers Corner (7/1), Lake Lugano (22/1), How Now (250/1)

Verdict

SPEAKERS CORNER clearly didn't give his running despite having the worst of the draw at Glorious Goodwood 52 days ago and with his debut effort at the Curragh previously a promising one, he's fancied to bounce back with first-time blinkers now enlisted. Loughrea N Roll following his very good debut third looks a big threat though, with Churchill Bond also fancied to feature.
