Fango Handicap (Div 2)

Two C&D wins this year, the latter in August on good ground. Pulled too hard when last of 8 at Ascot since but respected back here.

Back to winning ways at Wetherby (7f) in June and respectable fourths over C&D (good) and at Thirsk (good to soft) on last 2 outings. Likely to be on the premises.

Made all for back-to-back wins at Catterick last autumn. Returned with 2 good placed efforts this spring but hasn't been operating at the same level since, including when only seventh of 8 over C&D latest. Cheekpieces go back on.

C&D winner in June and also second over C&D in July. Back to winning ways at Brighton (7f, good) 3 weeks ago and a 4 lb rise shouldn't prevent another bold bid.

Refused to race at Redcar in July and all but did the same at Newcastle since. One to avoid.

Ground-versatile front runner who recorded back-to-back wins at Chester/Pontefract last summer. Sprung back to life in first-time cheekpieces when length second over 8.5f here (heavy) latest. Player if the headgear works again.

Left his sole 2-y-o run behind when winning 6-runner novice at Newcastle (6f) in January but has disappointed in a novice and handicap back on turf since. Up in trip after 2 months off and still early days, but arrives with a point to prove.

Course winner. Respectable fourth of 6 in handicap at Newcastle (1¼m) in December (final start for Gemma Tutty). The betting perhaps the best guide to expectations on return for new stable.

Has drawn blank since making a winning start for current yard at Newmarket (7f) last summer but her mark has come down as a result and last week's fourth of 12 at Thirsk (7f, good) was encouraging.
