Recorded 2 wins and a second (chasing home one on the up) at Worcester this summer. Disappointed off his revised mark there last time. May well bounce back for a change of headgear, though, as he bids for a third success under Sean Bowen.
Tumbled in the weights since finishing third behind a wide-margin winner in valuable novice final at Worcester this time last year. May come on for his 5¼-length fourth on return at Fontwell latest. Shapes like a stayer and could be worth a chance tackling 3m for first time with headgear on.
Versatile hold-up performer. Back on his latest winning mark and shaped as if in top form when beaten 7½ lengths (finished with running left under regular amateur jockey) at Worcester in early-July. Pace scenario again looks less than ideal, though.
Didn't kick on over hurdles after belatedly getting off the mark under this claimer at Exeter last October. Form since gone the wrong way on the Flat following a victory, too, faring no better on the back of a breathing operation latest. Difficult to be bullish on return to hurdling.
Lightly-raced 4-y-o. Form of his breakthrough success at Stratford (2¾m) hasn't worked out. Did at least run better than on his previous start when beaten 8½ lengths at Worcester last time, and this looks less competitive.
Poor maiden. Starts out for new yard having offered little on final start for Paddy Butler last month.

French Diablo (5/2), Jefe Triunfo (11/4), Mancero (11/4), Pooroldmackley (5/1), Stage Show (7/1), Camino Rocio (8/1), Glorious Mist (40/1)
JEFE TRIUNFO has fallen a long way in the weights since mixing it in better company this time last year. He's narrowly preferred to Mancero, who's entitled to go close if back on song in a change of headgear. Pooroldmackley shaped as if back in top form when last seen in July, and he completes the shortlist.
