Well-bred sort who took his form up another notch when adding to his tally at Chester (1¼m, soft) in June. Posted a creditable third from a much higher mark at Ascot the following month and he commands respect over this longer trip now fitted with a hood.

Back down in trip now.

Time has already shown SEA LANTERN faced a really stiff task conceding chunks of weight to a pair of upwardly-mobile 3-y-os in a 1¼m novice here back in the spring. That was his best effort yet and with the return to further a plus on handicap debut, Brian Ellison's charge looks to have plenty going for him returning from a break. Traveling Man and Morbeh can offer up chief resistance, in that order.
