Placed 3 times in maiden hurdles last season but bled when last seen in this sphere at Down Royal in May and finished last of 11 in handicap back on the Flat 22 days ago. Hard to recommend.
Made most of a good opportunity at Fairyhouse and going as well as any when falling 2 out in handicap hurdle (7/1) at Punchestown prior to ending last season on a sour note at Down Royal in March. Claims if able to resume progress on return from a 6-month break.
Proved better than ever when winning 10-runner handicap at Killarney in July by nose from the fast-finishing Jupiter Du Gite and left poorly placed when failing to back that up at Galway (17f) next time. Ran poorly on Flat when last seen.
Headstrong sort but settling better of late and has come close to snapping a lengthy losing run at Killarney his last 2 starts, beaten a nose by Arcland in July and then chasing home Londonofficecallin in August. Should be thereabouts again.
Bounced back to form from out of the blue when winning 8-runner 21f handicap hurdle at Sligo last month. Backed that up from 8 lb higher mark when 1½ lengths third of 10 to Midnight Eagle at same course 23 days ago. This is tougher, though.
Latest win in handicap hurdle at Catterick (25f) in January 2025 and still looked fairly treated when creditable fifth in similar event at Fairyhouse (3m, good) when last seen 14 months ago. Goes without usual headgear and market best guide on return.
Has improved in handicaps this season, winning 14-runner 2½m conditionals event at Killarney in July by 2¾ lengths from Koeur A Prendre and then progressed again when ¾-length second of 11 to Strong Contender in 3¼m similar event at Sligo 23 days ago. Sure to be of interest once more.
Walk In The Park gelding who has improved with each outing to date, taking his form up another notch when winning extended 2½m conditionals maiden at Roscommon in July by 2¼ lengths from Frankie's Freebie. Open to further progress on handicap debut.
Fair winner at 2Âľm over hurdles. Matched form of chasing debut in first-time cheekpieces when 21ÂĽ lengths seventh of 11 to Dinoland in handicap at Tramore last time. Fully-fledged rider back on board now returned to hurdling.
Standout effort over hurdles came when third in heavy-ground Punchestown maiden in February. Fared no better for switch to fences at Kilbeggan on final start for Gearoid O'Loughlin in late-May. Failed to beat a single rival on debut for this yard in 3ÂĽm handicap hurdle here last time.
Posted career best, in first-time blinkers, when winning 12-runner 3ÂĽm Sligo handicap in May. Hasn't been able to replicate that on either start for current yard, typically producing a mixed round of jumping last time.
Creditable fourth of 14 in handicap hurdle (17/2) at Sligo (21f, good) on reappearance 61 days ago. Should be sharper for that effort and capable of being in the mix if building on it.
Clear-cut winner of Thurles maiden hurdle last spring but it's been a struggle in handicap company since, including both outings this season. Stamina to prove back up in trip.
Lightly-raced maiden who has improved since tackling handicaps, turning in his best effort to date when 2 lengths third of 16 to Nothing Hectic in extended 2Âľm event at Ballinrobe last time.

Forecasts
Jupiter Du Gite (10/3), Pilgrims Walk (4/1), Take The Free (9/2), Luck Between Us (7/1), In The Minus (17/2), Mickey Cohen (9/1), Free Flow (9/1), Arcland (18/1), Mr Dibbs (22/1), Better Times (25/1), Strange Currency (33/1), Needs Must (33/1), Crossing The Bar (40/1), Ehteyat (40/1)
TAKE THE FREE arrives on the back of a win and on an upward curve, and looks the one to side with in an open-looking handicap. Luck Between Us is another unexposed sort and represents the chief threat, while Jupiter Du Gite has been threatening to come good and must also be respected.
