Veteran who seems more effective on the Flat nowadays but wasn't disgraced with blinkers retained on his return to hurdling when third at Worcester (2½m) in July. Not in the same form back there 12 days later and he's unproven over this far.

Avoided mistakes for once when landing 8-runner handicap chase at Worcester (23f, good) 53 days ago, suited by way race developed. Second has won since but this is his first hurdles start since 2023.

Clearly hasn't been the easiest to train but one of his better efforts when 3 lengths third of 6 to My Girl Katie in handicap hurdle over C&D (good to firm) 11 days ago.
