Sky Sports Racing Juvenile Hurdle (GBB Race)

Off time: 14:00 | Winning time: 4m 6.82s

Hello Garda^p⁴³

Age: 3| Weight: 11-7| J: Paddy Hanlon⁽⁵⁾| T: J J Hanlon

10/1

Modest maiden up to 1¼m on the Flat who finished well held starting out over hurdles in a Stratford juvenile in June. Different proposition when springing a 40/1 surprise at Uttoxeter and the third that day has gone in since. Penalty to carry.

Form: 31

Timely Salute^h⁵⁰

Age: 3| Weight: 11-7| J: Freddie Mitchell⁽³⁾| T: M Comley| CD

7/2

Maiden for William Knight but, having changed hands for 10,500gns, he created a favourable impression when successful on hurdles debut fitted with a hood over C&D in July, easing clear. More to come and he should take some stopping.

Form: 1

Jerseygeordie⁸⁷

Age: 3| Weight: 11-0| J: Paul O'Brien| T: Harry Derham

22/1

Half-brother to Jersey Jack (17f hurdle winner in Jersey, by Saddler's Rock) which offers some hope now tackling obstacles but he was a limited performer on the all-weather for Jamie Osborne.

Form:

Moment Of Light^t¹⁰⁷

Age: 3| Weight: 11-0| J: Harry Skelton| T: D Skelton

2/5

Fairly useful on the Flat for James Owen, winning twice on the all-weather over 11f but equally effective on turf. Left one excellent yard for another and he'll take some stopping on hurdles debut.

Form:

Nicolai¹⁰

Age: 3| Weight: 11-0| J: Bradley Harris⁽³⁾| T: N P Mulholland

200/1

No better than mid-division in 5 starts on the Flat for Jack Channon and little promise both starts over hurdles.

Form: P5

Rajbello⁹

Age: 3| Weight: 11-0| J: Liam Harrison| T: F O'Brien

50/1

Modest maiden on the Flat, last of 6 in handicap at Chepstow (1¼m, soft) 9 days ago. Quick switch to hurdling needs to bring about dramatic improvement.

Form:

Zooter^p²⁷

Age: 3| Weight: 11-0| J: Sam Twiston-Davies| T: Jack Jones

25/1

Fair maiden on the Flat (stays 1¼m) who hasn't been at his best in recent starts and has work to do with Hello Garda on their Uttoxeter clash. Cheekpieces back on.

Form: 4

Forecasts

Moment Of Light (2/5), Timely Salute (7/2), Hello Garda (10/1), Jerseygeordie (22/1), Zooter (25/1), Rajbello (50/1), Nicolai (200/1)

MOMENT OF LIGHT was the best of these on the Flat, has joined a leading NH yard and gets 7 lb from previous winners Timely Salute and Hello Garda, so hopes are high that he will make a winning debut in this sphere.
