Clone Cross³¹

Age: 5| Weight: 11-12| J: Kevin Healy⁽⁷⁾| T: S Cavanagh| OR: 97

9/1

Maiden pointer/hurdler but has been placed 3 times this season, including when third off this mark at Wexford last month.

Form: 2P3F23

Deise Crystal¹⁶

Age: 5| Weight: 11-11| J: Phillip Enright| T: S Aherne| OR: 96

8/1

Maiden who was a good second at Wexford in May and back to that level when fourth at Killarney 16 days ago.

Form: 4P-2354

Joshua Chamberlain¹⁴

Age: 9| Weight: 11-10| J: Eoghan Finegan⁽⁵⁾| T: G Keane| OR: 95

9/1

Opened his account off 1 lb higher at Tramore 3 years ago. Showed he retains most of his ability on his third start back from a mammoth absence when 2¾ lengths second of 16 to Princess Felicia at Ballinrobe 2 weeks ago and he's entitled to come on again.

Form: 515/042

Fair Damsel³¹

Age: 8| Weight: 11-8| J: Danny Gilligan| T: C Collins| OR: 93

66/1

Sole success came in a Killarney maiden hurdle in 2024 for previous yard. Had shaped as if back in form for this stable before running a stinker at Wexford last month.

Form: 0/60-5D0

John Storey^p,t³⁴

Age: 8| Weight: 11-5| J: Donagh Meyler| T: Ian Donoghue| OR: 90

5/1

Unreliable individual who shaped quite well when fourth on stable debut at Punchestown in January. Pulled up next 2 starts but clear signs of a revival reverted to fences after 4 months off when third at Roscommon 5 weeks ago. Has a good shout if building on that back over hurdles off 2 lb lower.

Form: 6P4PP-3

Ladiam^t¹⁹

Age: 9| Weight: 11-5| J: Conor Smithers⁽⁷⁾| T: N Lee| OR: 90

16/1

Sligo winner last summer but rather expensive to follow since, only seventh of 10 there latest.

Form: 7-55347

The Little Yank^b¹⁹

Age: 11| Weight: 11-5| J: John Aherne⁽⁷⁾| T: J P Ryan| OR: 90

22/1

Veteran who ended a losing run at Clonmel in January. Back to form after a 3-month break with a good third at Kilbeggan but never dangerous next 2 starts.

Form: PPP-337

Barryroe Madam^h¹⁴

Age: 7| Weight: 11-3| J: Michael Kenneally⁽⁵⁾| T: T O'Brien| OR: 88

22/1

Sole win came at Listowel in May 2025. Back to form when fourth at Wexford on penultimate start but that remains her only worthwhile effort for this yard.

Form: 00-0040

Hickeys Hill^t⁵³

Age: 7| Weight: 11-1| J: Darragh O'Keeffe| T: A McNamara| OR: 86

28/1

Point winner. Much improved when making winning handicap debut at Fairyhouse (2m) in October but has gone the wrong way since.

Form: 7015-90

Coup D'essay¹⁶

Age: 5| Weight: 11-0| J: Conor Stone-Walsh| T: G P Cromwell| OR: 85

11/1

Failed to justify support when seventh of 15 in handicap hurdle (13/2) at Limerick (2½m, soft) in late-May and only minor encouragement at Killarney latest.

Form: 087-7P9

Princess Felicia¹⁴

Age: 7| Weight: 10-12| J: Peter Smithers⁽⁵⁾| T: D H Kelly| OR: 83| D

4/1

Progressive since joining this yard, off the mark in 16-runner handicap at Ballinrobe 2 weeks ago by 2¾ lengths from Joshua Chamberlain, quickening clear. Remains of interest up 6 lb.

Form: P3U/3-21

Scarlet Purse¹⁰

Age: 7| Weight: 10-11| J: Liam McKenna⁽³⁾| T: M Hassett| OR: 82

16/1

Little impact for John McConnell but she caught the eye on second start for this yard at Wexford 10 days ago (finished with running left) and she goes up in trip again here.

Form: 6/000-97

Tedworth¹⁰

Age: 6| Weight: 10-11| J: Alan O'Sullivan⁽⁵⁾| T: Michael Barry| OR: 82

12/1

Finally put it all together when taking advantage of a falling mark at Tramore in April but unable to build on that since and was probably flattered to make the frame at Wexford 10 days ago.

Form: 01-4U74

Katie's Casper^p,t⁴⁶

Age: 7| Weight: 10-9| J: Thomas O'Connor⁽⁷⁾| T: D A McLoughlin| OR: 80

40/1

Left previous efforts behind when second at Kilbeggan in June but unable to repeat that next 2 starts and drop back in trip is a negative.

Form: 8-95250

Moonshine Girl^b1¹⁰

Age: 7| Weight: 10-9| J: Miss J Townend| T: P J Gilligan| OR: 80

9/1

Still seeking first win but posted solid runner-up efforts at Limerick/Roscommon. However, needs to bounce back from a poor run at Down Royal 10 days ago. Blinkers on 1st time.

Form: 8-72240

Phildante^p,t¹⁴

Age: 9| Weight: 10-8| J: Harry Sexton⁽⁷⁾| T: E Doyle| OR: 79

16/1

Belatedly off the mark at Wexford in July but not in same form when 12¼ lengths eleventh of 16 to Princess Felicia at Ballinrobe next time.

Form: 6-64F10

Monty's Way^p,t¹⁰

Age: 8| Weight: 10-5| J: Daniel King| T: G Stanley| OR: 76

66/1

Caused a 40/1 surprise at Ballinrobe in spring 2024 but has shown next to nothing since.

Form: 6P0-008

El Arco^t¹⁹

Age: 5| Weight: 10-2| J: Josh Williamson⁽³⁾| T: G Elliott| OR: 73

18/1

Showed little in novice hurdles and fared no better for switched to handicaps for Harriet Dickin last season. Easy to back when well held starting out for this yard at Sligo on return.

Form: 08795-0

Gypsy Poet¹⁰

Age: 5| Weight: 10-2| J: Simon Torrens| T: Liz Doyle| OR: 73

14/1

Lightly-raced maiden who showed more than previously when sixth at Down Royal last autumn. Better for comeback when seventh there 10 days ago but he's yet to finish higher than sixth after 7 career starts now.

Form: 6876-07

Forecasts

Princess Felicia (4/1), John Storey (5/1), Deise Crystal (8/1), Moonshine Girl (9/1), Joshua Chamberlain (9/1), Clone Cross (9/1), Coup D'essay (11/1), Kilkee Bay (12/1), Tedworth (12/1), Gypsy Poet (14/1), Ladiam (16/1), Phildante (16/1), Scarlet Purse (16/1), El Arco (18/1), Ranger Billy (20/1), Barryroe Madam (22/1), The Little Yank (22/1), Hickeys Hill (28/1), Trackman Tommy (33/1), Katie's Casper (40/1), Lucky This Time (50/1), Monty's Way (66/1), Fair Damsel (66/1)

JOHN STOREY was strong in the market when taking a big step back in the right direction at Roscommon 5 weeks ago and he remains of interest back in this sphere. Recent Ballinrobe 1-2 Princess Felicia and Joshua Chamberlain head the dangers.
