Looked as good as ever returning for new yard when narrow winner over C&D in April and got back on track when fourth in a similar event over C&D in June. Possibilities back from a break.
Smart form at best in France. Lost his way last year but went as close as he ever has to breaking his duck for current yard when just failing in an 8-runner handicap at Beverley (7.3f, heavy) last week. Obvious chance from a 2 lb higher mark.
Has yet to add to debut success (for Karl Burke) but finished runner-up in a pair of competitive York handicaps in June. Quickly bounced back from a lesser effort when fifth over C&D at the beginning of August but ran poorly at Ripon last time.
Sixteen runs since last win in 2023 and expensive to follow for current yard. Failed to reveal whether a breathing operation had done him any good at Redcar latest, losing all chance at the start.
Free-going type who won 6 times in the first half of last year and returned in good nick with 4 placed efforts in May/June. Not seen to best effect next 2 outings and is probably worth forgiving a lesser effort at Redcar latest.
Finally off the mark in handicaps when making all at Musselburgh (7f, good to firm) in June. Did well to throw down any sort of challenge after losing many lengths at the start at Carlisle subsequently and evidently still on a workable mark.
2-y-o maiden winner for Ed Bethell but has yet to add to his tally and ran no sort of race at Hamilton last month. Tongue strap on for 1st time.
All 3 career victories have come over 7f at Ayr, taking advantage of the drop in grade there in July. Not so good there next time but looked back in form at Musselburgh latest, finishing with running left.
Back in cheekpieces and off the mark for the season at Wolverhampton (7f) in June. Solid efforts in defeat next 2 outings and easy to excuse latest effort at Catterick given he seemed unsuited by the drop back in trip.

Forecasts
Misunderstood (9/4), Frankies Dream (7/2), Native Instinct (9/2), Andesite (5/1), Intrusively (8/1), Wreck It Ryley (11/1), Native Honey (12/1), Kosometsuke (18/1), Mythical Phoenix (33/1), Good Karma (40/1)
FRANKIES DREAM let himself down at the start at Redcar last time but he's very hard to ignore having been given a real chance by the assessor, so is worth chancing to belatedly get off the mark for the season. Misunderstood went close to landing a first success for current yard at Beverley last week and is an obvious player from a 2 lb higher mark, while Native Instinct completes the shortlist.
