Rich Ellis's 60th Vinyl Countdown Handicap Hurdle

Likeable type who completed a double in 2½m mares handicap at Aintree in May (form worked out well). Narrowly denied hat-trick at Uttoxeter (23f) subsequently and only denied by a course specialist in the Cartmel Cup latest. In the form of her life and can give a good account off a career-high mark.

Course winner (over 3¼m) who finished 18¼ lengths third in a solid Market Rasen handicap (23f) in May. Didn't look 100% at Newton Abbot the following month, however, she can go well fresh and hasn't had many spins in Class 4 company (latest success came in this grade following a break).

Won sole bumper start in Ireland. Apparent lazy streak didn't stop him from completing a hat-trick on handicap hurdle debut at Plumpton (20.5f) in November. Hasn't fired since, however, he could be worth another chance following a 10-week break (had second career breathing operation in the interim).

Employed as front runner when nearly landing a handicap hurdle double at Sedgefield in late-2024. Gone backwards following a positive start over fences, offering little on return in late-July. Hard to be confident back hurdling under inexperienced claimer.

Capped a good run of form when making all to record a fourth course success (19f) here in late-May. Couldn't capitalise on soft lead when beaten 1½ lengths here (2m) last time. Steps back up in trip significantly, which may well suit on return from 10-week break.

Front-running veteran. Finished runner-up both starts over hurdles this year, perhaps finding his stamina giving way when beaten 12 lengths at Newton Abbot (3¼m). Can give a good account down in trip, though may prove vulnerable to younger legs at the business end.

Looked to be building up to something when third in a mares hurdle at Uttoxeter in March. Hasn't fired either start since, proving much easier to back (probably needed the run) over C&D last time. One to consider off career-low mark, especially if the market speaks in her favour.

Veteran who's won 11 of his 43 starts. Didn't build on a promising return when well held at Cartmel in mid-July, though, and hard to be confident he can capitalise on a tumbling mark.
