Won his first 2 starts after joining Marco Botti, including at Newmarket on return. Disappointed in the Italian Derby but resumed progress when impressive winner of C&D handicap 4 weeks ago, suited by the step up in trip. Can go well again up 7 lb.
Debut winner in Lingfield novice in December. Useful form in defeat since, including when eighth of 19 in Royal Ascot handicap over C&D last time. Finished 3¼ lengths behind Heyzoom that day and is 6 lb better off with him now. Gelded since and tongue strap also applied.
Responded well to cheekpieces when winning at Glorious Goodwood but disappointed in Royal Ascot handicap (behind Heyzoom and Guildmaster) and the Melrose at York either side of that. Needs to bounce back again, though Toby Moore takes off a handy 7 lb.
Winner of a pair of 1m novices at the start of the summer and progressed again when second of 6 on handicap debut at the Newmarket July meeting. Backed that up when fourth at Glorious Goodwood. Respected up in trip.
Sea The Stars gelding who was all the wiser with his debut behind him when winning at Yarmouth in July. That form has worked out really well but he made a meal of landing the odds under a penalty in 3-runner event at Haydock since. Remains with potential now handicapping.
Beaten at short odds on first 2 outings but made no mistake in strong maiden at Newbury. Excellent effort on handicap debut when fourth of 19 in King George V over C&D at the Royal Meeting in June and has been given a break since (has been gelded). Remains of strong interest back down in class.
New Bay colt who made the most of his experience fitted with first-time headgear when off the mark in 6-runner maiden at Sandown. Stepped up on that when only just denied on handicap debut at Newbury but looked a real handful in listed race at Clairefontaine since.
Gained a deserved first success when landing the odds in novice at Lingfield and has got better by the run in handicaps, coming clear when held up off a strong pace at Windsor 12 days ago. However, an 8 lb rise in much better race is probably enough to prevent the follow-up.
Expensive to follow in maiden/novices and his mark looks a stiff one. Needs to take a big step forward on handicap debut with headgear applied.

Forecasts
Heyzoom (5/4), Ancestor (9/2), Archers Bay (6/1), Decade Of Time (7/1), Guildmaster (12/1), Into The Light (14/1), Turty Tree (20/1), Cape Fear (22/1), Lord D'or (33/1)
HEYZOOM went a long way towards proving himself a well-handicapped horse when fourth at Royal Ascot (strong form) and he can confirm that impression here returned to calmer waters. Archers Bay must be respected given the manner of his C&D win at the Shergar Cup, while Into The Light is another potential threat if bouncing back under Toby Moore.
