Forecasts

San Jose (15/8), Impasto (10/3), Shimmering Shadow (4/1), Chymbulak (15/2), Korsakov (12/1), Ayuq (12/1), Worthawhistle (12/1), Moon Rock (28/1), Too Darn Regal (40/1), Senor Blues (50/1), Sky Mountain (150/1)

Verdict

An entry in the Royal Lodge at the end of the month points to KORSAKOV being well regarded by his top stable so he gets the nod to make a winning debut, with confidence in his chance increased should the betting vibes be strong. Newbury fourth San Jose is the other one in this line-up with Group entries and is second choice ahead of Kempton runner-up Chymbulak. The other newcomers from leading stables would also need considering if the betting speaks in their favour.
