Wipeawayyourtears^p⁴⁹

Age: 3| Weight: 10-2| J: Gavin Ryan| T: M Butler| OR: 59| D

14/1

Continued a gradual theme of progression in handicaps when winning a 17-runner event at Fairyhouse in June by 1½ lengths from Pebble Island. Not in same form at Killarney since but worth a chance to bounce back.

Form: 06-2319

(16)

Sir Trancealot⁴⁹

Age: 3| Weight: 10-1| J: Seamie Heffernan| T: J P Murtagh| OR: 58

14/1

Stepped up on maiden form in handicaps on last 2 starts, finishing a close third to Wipeawayyourtears at Fairyhouse before running to a similar level when fifth of 16 to Private Larry at Bellewstown next time. Possibly amiss when last of 14 at Killarney 49 days ago.

Form: 077350

Age: 3| Weight: 9-13| J: Adam Browne-Souza⁽⁷⁾| T: A Slattery| OR: 56

Form: 0048

(14)

Canon Law²⁶

6/1

Career best when winning 10-runner handicap at Sligo (13.3f, good to soft, 5/2) 26 days ago. Had run of race there but merits consideration from 12 lb higher mark.

Form: 066251

Ellens Bay²⁶

Age: 3| Weight: 9-10| J: Luke McAteer| T: Ciaran Murphy| OR: 53

Down the field in a trio of maidens but improved for the longer trip when 8½ lengths third of 10 to Canon Law on handicap debut at Sligo (13.3f, good to soft, 50/1) 26 days ago.

Form: 0-003

(18)

Augusta Rock^b,t1⁴⁵

13/2

Took another step forward in a change of headgear (first-time blinkers) when second of 7 in handicap at Down Royal (13f, good, 5/2) 45 days ago. Another bold show looks likely with first-time tongue strap now applied.

Form: 008-852

Flagstone Lady⁴⁹

Age: 3| Weight: 9-8| J: Jack Kearney⁽³⁾| T: M O'Callaghan| OR: 51

Well held in three maidens last year and on handicap debut at Galway this summer. Returns to the Flat after finishing second in 3 juvenile hurdles and he's respected with the hood on for 1st time in this sphere.

Form: 696-6

(8)

Elzaam Express^p²⁶

Age: 3| Weight: 9-2| J: Robert Whearty| T: G P Cromwell| OR: 45

40/1

Well held in a trio of maidens and perhaps unsurprisingly didn't seem to appreciate the markedly longer trip when 13¾ lengths seventh of 10 to Canon Law in handicap at Sligo (13.3f, good to soft, 28/1) 26 days ago. RESERVE.

Form: 5007

(9)

Curious Jane²⁶

Age: 3| Weight: 9-0| J: Shane Foley| T: Ciaran Murphy| OR: 43

33/1

Respectable 12¼ lengths fifth of 10 to Canon Law in handicap at Sligo (13.3f, good to soft, 16/1) 26 days ago but is pretty exposed by now and it's hard to see her making a more serious impact. RESERVE.

AUGUSTA ROCK has taken a step forward on his last 2 outings and he can go one better than at Down Royal last month to score for the all-conquering Joseph O'Brien yard. Top weights Glen Echo and Nathema are considered, with Canon Law also likely to have a say.
