Won 3 times on all-weather earlier in the year and having edged back down to his last winning mark without doing too much wrong, he resumed winning ways with a bit up his sleeve in a 6-runner handicap at Brighton (5.3f, good to firm, 4/1) 7 days ago. Respected under a penalty.

Went the wrong way for Richard Hannon last year but back in better form for new yard this summer, going close at Nottingham (6f, good to firm) last month before proving as good as ever when getting up late to win an 8-runner event at Lingfield (6f, all-weather) 16 days ago. Cheekpieces on 1st time.
Successful twice this year, with her latest success at Windsor in May. Ran well to make the frame twice here last month, finding only a 3-y-o handicap debutant too strong on the latter occasion, and was left with nowhere to go inside the final 1f at Brighton last week.
Doubled his tally at Southwell in May and not disgraced when fifth of 17 at York (5f, good to firm) last month. Not ideally placed at Brighton next time and proved far too keen when down the field at Newmarket 16 days ago. Others make greater appeal.
Showed a good attitude when doubling his tally on reappearance/all-weather debut at Southwell (5f) in April. Exploits have been mixed subsequently but took a step back in the right direction when a never-nearer sixth of 7 in handicap at Ffos Las (6f, good) 69 days ago. Has since been gelded.
Much improved in first-time cheekpieces with success in 9-runner Goodwood handicap in June, moving smoothly and having matters in hand final 1f. Headgear seemingly didn't have the same effect when fifth at Lingfield (6f) since, though.
Didn't fire in 2025 but has returned in good heart this season, backing up his reappearance effort when third of 8 in handicap at Carlisle (6f) in June. Has a bit of a break to overcome but he's respected in the hands of a good-value claimer.

Forecasts
Em Four (15/8), Twirler (7/2), Logi Bear (4/1), Harry's Halo (5/1), Cayman Tai (9/1), Proof (10/1), Perfect Location (22/1)
TWIRLER was only narrowly denied by a younger rival here on her penultimate outing and can be given another chance to build on that having found herself trapped behind a wall of horses at Brighton last week. Harry's Halo remains on a competitive mark and is respected after a break, while Lingfield winner Logi Bear completes the shortlist in a competitive affair.
