On a losing sequence and he was again below form on second start following a break when fifth of 8 in handicap at Chester (7.6f) 24 days ago. However, drops into class 6 company for the first time with cheekpieces refitted and booking of Billy Loughnane an obvious plus.

Still winless since taking the Spring Mile in 2024 but shaping up quite well for new yard, having little chance from his position when seventh of 13 in handicap at Wolverhampton (9.5f) 4 weeks ago. Not one for maximum faith given his quirks but he's very much down to an attractive mark.
Lightly-raced gelding who displayed promise initially for Ed Bethell but lightly raced this year and he produced a low-key effort starting out for this yard at Ffos Las 5 weeks ago. Has it to prove at present.
Resumed winning ways at Bath (1m) in May and in better heart than recent form figures would suggest, paying the price for a big move into contention when fifth of 6 in a C&D handicap 25 days ago. Now finds herself back on last winning mark and one to consider.

One win from 25 Flat runs. Eleven runs since last win in 2025. 12/1, second of 5 in handicap at Yarmouth (1¼m, good to firm) 16 days ago. Back down in trip. Looks competitive on form.
Produced best effort for some time when scoring over C&D in June but not reproduced that form in 3 subsequent outings, weakening having taken a strong hold when seventh of 9 in handicap at Ffos Las (1½m) 21 days ago. Steps back down significantly in trip now with hood discarded.
Three-time C&D winner, including this race last year. Exploits mixed initially this year but more encouraging signs of late, posting a respectable fifth in a C&D handicap 9 days ago. Another worthy of consideration having slipped to an attractive mark.
Much tighter in the betting than previously this season and bounced back to form to register second career success over C&D in June. Placed on next 3 starts before a respectable sixth over C&D 9 days ago and fancied to be thereabouts again.

Law Of Design (11/4), Rating (7/2), Ajrad (7/2), Look Back Smiling (9/2), Scarfo (7/1), Risen Again (17/2), Bobby Dassler (28/1), Counting Cards (80/1)
No shortage of chances but RISEN AGAIN hails from a stable going well (4 winners across last 2 meetings here) and signalled he could well be ready to strike when second at Yarmouth 16 days ago. He shades preference over Look Back Smiling who has been shaping up pretty well for his new yard and has the assistance of Tom Marquand today. Rating and class-dropping Law of Design complete the shortlist.
