Kodi Bear colt who progressed as expected from a promising debut fourth when finding only one too good in a Salisbury novice (7f) in July. Couldn't match that when well held at Ffos Las 2 weeks ago (raced freely) but no surprise to see him get back on track.

Lope De Vega colt who makes plenty of appeal on pedigree and he produced a most promising first effort when second of 6 in a Sandown novice (7f) 3 weeks ago, keeping on well. That form is working out well and big player with improvement on the cards.

Showed ability on debut when fifth of 12 in 6f Windsor maiden in May but unable to match that when ninth of 13 over the minimum trip there a month later. Likely type for nurseries after this.

€160,000 yearling, Wootton Bassett filly. Proved very easy to back but some promise to glean from her debut tenth in a class 2 Goodwood maiden (7f) 3 weeks ago, subject to no more than hands and heels ride. That race has already thrown up winners and she's the type to do better.

Forecasts

Grove Street (2/5), La Bassette (5/1), Avionics (13/2), Talamon (11/1), Highland Frost (40/1), It's A Dream (150/1)

Verdict

The form of GROVE STREET's promising debut second at Sandown 3 weeks ago is already working out well and with progress anticipated from starts 1-2, he earns the vote to come out on top. Avionics raced too freely last time and can be afforded another chance, whilst La Bassette rates a likely improver having shown ability in a well-contested maiden on debut. Talamon is an interesting newcomer to note, too.
