Ran one of his better races over hurdles when second of 8 in claiming event at Sligo (2¼m, good, 9/2) 9 days ago. Not the force of old in this sphere but his mark reflects that and he shouldn't be taken lightly.
Produced best effort to date when second of 9 in handicap (11/4) at Gowran (12.5f, good) 8 days ago, running on. Cheekpieces back on and leading chance if seeing out the longer trip.
Poor efforts last 2 starts over hurdles but could fare appreciably better back on the Flat.
Finally got off the mark in this sphere at Tramore (2m) in July and ran creditably back over fences at Wexford last week. Should continue in form.
Landed back-to-back Dundalk handicaps last winter and ran at least as well in defeat in hat-trick bid there on final outing. Returns to turf after a 6-month absence but has gone well fresh before.
Has cut little ice in 3 handicaps. Up in trip and fitted with hood and tongue strap combination.
A dual winner over hurdles since last seen on the Flat in July 2024 but not at her best on most recent start in that sphere. Tongue strap on for first time in this code.
Long-standing maiden but run best excused when tenth of 15 in handicap (11/2) at Killarney (11.5f, good) 31 days ago, snatched up 2f out and not recover. Significantly up in trip and fitted with a first-time tongue strap.
Maiden who ran creditably without threatening when 5¾ lengths sixth of 12 to Bynx in handicap (4/1) over C&D (good) 39 days ago.
Pulled up in handicap hurdle at Kilbeggan on most recent jumps start but ran well from a basement mark in this sphere when second at Tramore the time before.
Went with no encouragement on his first handicap start in this sphere at Leopardstown (15f, good to firm) 23 days ago. New headgear. RESERVE.
Hasn't offered much encouragement in recent Flat starts and exited too far out to suggest where he'd have finished back over hurdles at Cork last time. RESERVE.

Bynx (2/1), Synchronize (9/2), God Of Thunder (5/1), Bhean Saibhre (5/1), Gallo Dell Cielo (6/1), Vervain (6/1), Maxwell Smart (13/2), Highway Sixty One (15/2), Lariat (20/1), Fire Coral (22/1), Fine Print (28/1), Crypto Crash (28/1), Kings Gesture (66/1), Stone Rulya (100/1)
A trappy low-level staying handicap with the vote going to VERVAIN, who found the line coming a stride too soon when just failing to double her tally at Gowran last week and seems likely to stay this longer trip on that evidence. Maxwell Smart has an ordinary strike rate but ran up to his best at Sligo on his most recent outing despite being left with a lot to do. God of Thunder and Bhean Saibhre are others to consider.
