Churchill gelding who looks to be being brought along gradually, third of 6 in novice over C&D (firm) last month. One for low-grade handicaps after this.
Gleneagles colt. Half-brother to several winners, including useful 5f/6f winner Eternal Sunshine and 5f/6f winner Sound of Iona. Dam, 5f winner (including at 2 yrs), half-sister to very smart 5f-7f winner Jack Dexter.
Mkfancy gelding who ran to a similar level as on debut when seventh of 10 in maiden at Pontefract (1¼m, good) 5 weeks ago. Back down in trip and looks one for the longer term.
Justify gelding who failed to justify support but wasn't ideally placed when sixth of 13 in maiden at Southwell (7f) on debut just under 3 weeks ago. Upped to 1m and should do better.
Victor Ludorum gelding who still appeared green when third of 5 in novice at Nottingham (8.3f, good) 12 days ago. Not without each-way hope in this.
Well-bred son of Persian King who continued his run of thirds in 13-runner novice at Southwell (1m) 8 weeks ago, travelling as well as any but failing to quicken late. Hood discarded and remains with potential having been gelded since last seen.
300,000 gns yearling, Mehmas colt. Produced a promising first effort when fourth of 5 in novice at Doncaster (1m, firm) in June but turned out 8 days later, wasn't in the same form at Sandown (1¼m, good). Has moved yards since (sold for 12000 gns) and drops back to 1m for his return.
Twilight Son filly who was hooded and showed nothing when last of 5 in novice at this course (11f, good to firm) on debut 10 days ago. Drops down in trip.

Forecasts
Sheikhnshah (4/9), Matter Of Britain (4/1), League Of Justice (17/2), Upper East (14/1), Al Fujairah (18/1), Eagles Instinct (18/1), Freddy Fearless (28/1), Midnight Serenade (300/1)
Preference is for SHEIKHNSHAH, who has shown plenty of ability with a trio of third-placed efforts and Julie Camacho's charge remains with potential having been gelded since last seen. The hood is discarded and he can get the better of Upper East, who is worth another chance to build on a promising debut effort having switched yards. Matter of Britain may prove best of the rest.
