Hit the frame 2 of 3 handicap starts, a late mistake probably costing him second when beaten 4¼ lengths in a bunch finish at Wexford last time. That race has produced a couple of next-time-out winners, and there could be a bit more to come from this low-mileage 5-y-o.
Standout effort when 5¾ lengths fourth in a messy Roscommon maiden on penultimate hurdle start. Beaten by more than stiff-looking opening mark at Killarney in July and well behind on Flat debut at Galway later in the month.
Off the mark on reappearance at Downpatrick in March before improving to finish second at Limerick (had subsequent winners behind on both occasions). Has been freshened up following a couple of lesser efforts in May and every chance if back on song.
Sole success came in this corresponding event in 2024. Now back on his winning mark following a pipe-opener at Limerick (returning from 13 months off) last month. Should make a bold bid if back to his best.
Free-going sort who stepped up on previous hurdling efforts when justifying support under an enterprising Danny Mullins ride at this course (17f) in July. Ran badly in a better race at Cork last week, though.
Wasn't far behind a fair sort in a Roscommon maiden this time last year. Best effort since when bumping into one on return to that track (good) latest, staying on to take second on line despite lugging right. Fancied to go well, especially if forecast strong pace and rain materialises.
No match for an improver on handicap bow at Cork (soft) in April prior to a lesser effort at Wexford the following month.
Veteran who beat a couple of fairly useful sorts over fences at Sligo last October. Off since pulling up in a Grade 2 novice at Cork in December. Returns on appreciably lower hurdles mark but record fresh hardly inspires confidence.
Fair Flat winner. Best effort in this sphere when 10½ lengths third in a similar event at Downpatrick in mid-June. Seemingly no excuses when down the field at Wexford last time, though.
Long-standing maiden. Seemingly hasn't been the easiest to train but wasn't beaten all that far in a couple of handicaps on soft/heavy last season. Capable fresh and handicapper has given him a chance.
Has little recent form in either sphere.
Stopped the slide when 7¼ lengths fourth of 14 on chasing debut at Limerick in May. No sure thing to build on that given her patchy record over hurdles.
Fair maiden (runner-up 5 times) on the Flat. Brought along steadily in maiden hurdles but didn't build on his reappearance/handicap debut at Cork latest, a wide trip turning in offering only some mitigation.
Went as close as she has when 2¼ lengths second at Clonmel on penultimate start. Wasn't disgraced on return from 7 weeks off at Wexford latest but elusive win may again evade her.
Veteran who has clearly had issues. Plenty to prove returning from a further 21-month absence.
