Recorded second win of the season at Beverley in June and good runner-up efforts off revised mark next 2 of 3 starts. First-time headgear could eke out a bit more.

Back-to-back winner 2 summers ago. Hasn't been at that level since returning from a 17-month absence in February, often failing to settle.

Veteran who often gives his running and came in for a good ride when narrow winner over C&D in April. Didn't settle fully back at 1m at Kempton since but this is a better race than he need contest.
