Poor on the Flat nowadays and has been pulled up all starts over hurdles. Easily passed over.
Fairly useful winner at 10f on Flat. Running best race over hurdles (keeping on in second) when unseated rider last in maiden at Tramore (2m) in April. Poor effort back on the level since but sets the standard nonetheless.
Modest performer on the Flat who posted several good efforts at Dundalk (10.7f) earlier in the year. Makes a belated hurdling debut.
Maiden pointer who was well held on hurdling debut at Cork a year ago.
Runner-up completed start in points and showed more than first time up over hurdles when fourth of 15 in 2m maiden at Ballinrobe in May. Failed to repeat that effort at Wexford 15 days ago, though.
Kingston Hill gelding. Half-brother to 3 winners, including useful bumper winner/fairly useful hurdler Sergeant Wilson and fair hurdler Stucker Hill. Dam 7f winner.
Pastorius gelding. Half-brother to numerous winners, including fairly useful hurdler/useful chaser Farceur du Large and French hurdler/chaser Enfant du Large. Fell sole start in points (May 2025).
Fair maiden hurdler who wasn't disgraced when fourth of 13 in maiden at this course (17f, good) 15 days ago. Likely to be in the shake-up.
Stepped up on his 2 previous efforts under Rules when second of 12 in maiden hurdle at Sligo (17f, good, 11/1) 26 days ago. More required for win purposes.
Unplaced both starts in points and offered little in a Downpatrick maiden hurdle (19f) in June.
50/1, merely hinted at ability when eighth of 15 in maiden hurdle at Kilbeggan (19f, good) 14 days ago. Probably one for later on.
Improved on his hurdling debut form when third of 14 in maiden at this course (2½m, good to firm) 35 days ago. Drop back in trip likely to suit on that evidence and open to further progress.
Shaped with more encouragement than on her sole outing in bumpers when fourth of 10 in maiden hurdle at Killarney (17f, good to soft) in October. Off since and market probably the best guide.
Well held in bumper/pair of juvenile hurdles. RESERVE.

TOMTHESCAFFOLDER promised even better for a long way when third in a 2½m maiden at Wexford last month, so is selected to open his account with the drop in trip likely to suit. Sea Eagle and Penny Express are considered the chief threats.
