Best when able to lead, including when third at this course (7f) in June. However, unable to get to the front when fifth of 8 here (6f) 19 days ago and he might not get his own way in this race either. Switches back to cheekpieces on return to further.

Opened account at Lingfield in September on final run for George Boughey. Runner-up twice on all-weather early this year and, after 5-month break, has possibly been working his way back in 2 starts on turf last month. Interesting with visor added (took well to headgear as a 3-y-o).
Switched to a visor and dropped back to 1m, showed much improved form when getting off the mark in 6-runner handicap at Sandown 8 days ago, pulling clear with a progressive type. Can make his presence felt under a penalty.
Won twice over 7f last year, including at this course on the first occasion. In-and-out form so far this season, though ran well with hood applied when close third over C&D 6 days ago. Remains to be seen if the headgear will have the same effect this time.
Didn't make much impression in maidens/novice, but some encouragement making handicap/turf debut when fourth of 6 at Sandown (7f) 13 days ago, despite still looking to be in need of the experience.
5-time winner last year and stepped forward from his recent run when fourth of 7 over C&D in June. Failed to justify favouritism in a class 6 when third of 5 at Chepstow last month, but is now back down to his last winning mark.
Ran to a fair level in her qualifying runs, before taking a step forward sent handicapping when third of 8 at Lingfield (7f, firm) 15 days ago. Well-bred filly who could yet do better as she goes up in trip.

PANELLI ran well fitted with headgear as a 3-y-o, so with a visor now applied he can step forward from his 2 runs back from a break last month. He could be the answer in the opener, though Home Hero isn't taken lightly under a penalty for his Sandown success, with Stormy Music also a contender.
