Built on several encouraging runs since joining this yard when landing 7f Doncaster handicap (good to firm) in June. Only narrowly denied on follow-up bid there 15 days ago. Refitted blinkers replace cheekpieces. Should give another good account.
Smart form at best in France. Lost his way during 2025 but has shaped as if building up to something in 4 starts for current connections, finishing with running left when seventh of 17 in handicap at Ayr (6f, good to firm) 18 days ago. Eased another 2 lb and too well treated to ignore.
Not straightforward but found things panning out ideally when opening his account for present yard over 6f at Doncaster (heavy) last autumn. Below last winning mark and has shaped as if back in some form last twice, latterly finishing just ahead of reopposing stablemate Misunderstood at Ayr.
Enthusiastic front-runner who has returned at the top of his game, reaching the frame again when fourth of 10 at Newmarket (6f, good to firm) 3 weeks ago. Has plenty of speed but he has won over 7f.
Back to form out of the blue to take advantage of a reduced mark for new yard at Thirsk (7f, good) last month. Remains well treated on old form but his profile doesn't make him an obvious one to follow up.
Continues in good form, creditable fifth of 14 in handicap at Newbury (7f, firm) 22 days ago, but remains 6 lb above his highest win mark.
Resurgent since the turn of the year, with 1m Wetherby win last month his fifth in 6 starts. Creditable third of 6 in handicap at Beverley (7.5f, good to firm) last time. Another 3 lb higher here which won't make his task any easier.
Dead-heated in this race last year. Good third of 22 over C&D in May and had an excuse (left poorly placed) when down the field back here last time. Likely still in form but this ground may be a bit quicker than ideal for him.
Thirteen runs since last win in 2025. Good second over 6f at Thirsk at the start of this month but hasn't made much impact in his 3 course visits this year, including last time.
Bar a disappointing effort at the Doncaster Lincoln meeting he's done well since visored, bouncing back to form with a bang to land a 22-runner C&D handicap (good) in May. Only seventh of 14 over 1m here since but this is more his trip.
Won a Redcar maiden and Newcastle novice from 4 starts last season but has yet to kick on since handicapping and is hard to recommend at present.
Four wins over 6f/7f for Stuart Williams last year but has a 9-month absence to overcome on this first outing for a new yard. Might be best watched.
Signed off 2025 with back-to-back wins at Newcastle (6f) in November. Returned to form when narrowly denied at Ripon (6f) in May but ran poorly there at the beginning of June and off since. Poorly drawn now having a rare start over 7f.
Has drawn a blank since a Group 3 win as a juvenile but he is capable of making an impact from his reduced mark, placing over C&D at the Dante meeting and leading for a long way when seventh of 20 back here last month. Well drawn for his prominent run style. Enters calculations.
Better than ever since joining excellent yard, winning at Ayr (7f, good to firm) in May. The line came just too soon for his strong finish over 6f at Hamilton last time and he's respected back at 7f.
Back to form with a pair of 6f Carlisle wins (both good ground) this summer. Equally effective at 7f but stall 17 isn't ideal.
Last year's Great St Wilfrid winner who has largely struggled despite a tumbling mark on turf in recent months. A wide stall offers an excuse at Chester last time, though, and he'll likely revive at some point.
Dual 6f winner for Ben Haslam in May. Creditable fourth of 6 in handicap at Hamilton (6f, good) 44 days ago. Changed hands for 14,000 gns since and new trainer reaches for a visor.

MISUNDERSTOOD is chucked in on his French form and recent efforts suggest he's finding his feet for David O'Meara. Alpha Capture arrives at the top of his game and is second choice ahead of Ashen and Orne.
