Progressive 4-time winner over hurdles last summer. Caught the eye on qualifying run at Pontefract (66/1) earlier this month. On a very attractive opening mark given what he achieved over jumps. Should capitalise with cheekpieces on for first time in this sphere.

Had been expensive to follow before capitalising on a career-low mark in 11f handicap at Carlisle last time (first success since debut). Extra furlong may prove within range given he's already outstaying his pedigree, but is probably worth opposing given his overall profile.

Free-going sort. Borderline fairly useful over hurdles. Sole Flat win came over C&D last autumn. Bettered that when runner-up at Ripon on the back of another breathing operation last month. Every chance if bouncing back from slightly disappointing hurdle run latest.

Enhanced fine Pontefract record when readily landing a 0-53 handicap there last time. That's likely to prove solid form for the grade, and he looks capable of running a big race off 4 lb higher.

Strong in betting dropped into a 0-55 when 2¾ lengths third at Wolverhampton (1½m) last time. That performance can be marked up following a tardy start, though may need a return to further to snap his losing run.
