Won 3 times over 5f last year but yet to make an impact in 5 outings this season. Will at least benefit from this drop back in trip.

Ended last year below form on all-weather, though did finish third in a better Yarmouth handicap prior to that. Looked in need of the run on his previous outing this season but has been absent for another 3 months since and is probably best watched starting out for new yard (left Michael Bell).

Quirky sort who won twice at Windsor last year. Went close on turf return at Nottingham and filled the runner-up spot again over this C&D last month. Not best placed back at Windsor penultimate outing but had fewer excuses when fourth of 8 in handicap at Lingfield (5f, all-weather, 3/1) 17 days ago.
|
Found plenty of improvement dropped to the minimum trip when winning over C&D in May, though he did rather get the run of things on the day and seemingly unsuited by the increased emphasis on speed at Goodwood since.
|
Signed off 2025 by winning at Leicester, and completed the hat-trick with a brace of victories at Kempton in April (all at 6f). Has probably done a bit too much in front both outings since, shaping better than the result when fourth back at Kempton last month, and he's respected dropped to 5f.
|
Had cheekpieces on first time when beating a subsequent winner to get off the mark at Windsor in May. Didn't really knuckle down in his bid to follow up when a well-backed second at Bath next time and again didn't fully convince with his attitude when last of 6 at Brighton (5.3f) last time.
|
Has done very well since rejoining this yard in the spring after a spell with James Owen, winning back-to-back events at Bath and Brighton in May. Overcame a messy start to land the odds back at Bath last time in ready fashion and he makes appeal again from a 6 lb higher mark.

Forecasts
Arry Up (9/4), Nogo's Dream (11/4), Smart Vision (4/1), Havana Smile (7/1), Correspondence (17/2), Neptune Legend (9/1), Brave Nation (16/1)
NEPTUNE LEGEND arrives at the top of his game, having 3 won times across his last 4 starts, and he can defy a 6 lb rise to add another victory to his tally. Arry Up could well benefit from the drop to 5f and can pose the biggest threat ahead of Nogo's Dream.
