Went backwards over hurdles last summer and little encouragement on both outings over fences, including on return at Tramore (15f, good) in May. Back up in trip and needs to show plenty more.
Long-standing maiden who added to a patchy chasing record back in a tongue strap when sixth of 14 in handicap at this course (2m, good to soft) just over 3 weeks ago. First-time visor goes on.
Winning hurdler who's yet to taste success in chases. Improved efforts when making the frame twice in the spring but ran no sort of race at Punchestown (2½m, good) early last month. Clumsy sort who needs to bounce back with headgear discarded.
Won a Bellewstown maiden hurdle and novice at Kelso last season. Seemingly being brought along with handicaps in mind in this sphere so percentage call is to look elsewhere.
Regularly switches between the level/hurdles and came on for his reappearance when scoring at Navan (13f) in April. Remained in good form when seventh of 24 at the Curragh (1¾m, good to firm) the following month and has been freshened up ahead of this chasing debut.
Equipped with a first-time tongue strap when off the mark at the fifth attempt in maiden hurdle at Down Royal in December. Possibly amiss back from 4 months off when well beaten at Punchestown (19f, good to soft) in April but he rates as an interesting chasing debutant.
Showed promise when runner-up over C&D last August but disappointing since in this sphere. Has moved yard since last seen at Down Royal on St. Stephen's Day and watching brief advised.
Produced a career best to enhance a fine record at Clonmel when winning handicap hurdle over this trip in May. Ran below that form sent chasing over C&D just over 3 weeks ago so needs to take a big step forward.
Fairly useful mare who at Clonmel in October and posted a respectable fourth in a Killarney listed race on return. Obtained black type thanks to a wide trip and the Elliott-trained pair not firing when third in Grade 3 at Limerick (2m, good) recently and attentions now turned to chasing.

Forecasts
Queenofthelodge (9/4), Los Blanco (5/2), Mickie Angel (7/2), Kool One (11/2), West Away (7/1), Colleen Danu (15/2), Glenashling (9/1), Now So Jake (20/1), Clody Diamond (20/1), Jackson Lamb (25/1), Boston Jury (40/1), Figurehead (80/1)
Preference is for MICKIE ANGEL who put up his best effort yet in this discipline when runner-up on return over C&D earlier in the month and Denis Hogan's 8-y-o looks to have been found a good opportunity to go one better. Los Blanco rates as an interesting chasing debutant so he heads up the dangers returning from a 3-month absence. Queenofthelodge and Glenashling can fight out minor honours.
