Dual C&D winner last season and got off the mark for 2026 at Thirsk in May. Unlucky to bump into an improving 3-y-o when second of 7 in handicap at this C&D (good) 17 days ago and he enters calculations from just 1 lb higher.

Fairly useful 6f scorer for Tom Clover in 2025 and caught the eye on retun at Doncaster. Failed to build on that initially but returned to form in a first-time visor when a plugging-on fifth of 19 in handicap at York (6f, good to firm) 10 days ago. On a handy mark if able take another step forward.
Went close to beating Jenever over C&D in October and made a solid return to action when runner-up at Lingfield in April before making the frame at Chester the following month. Below form around 5f both starts since but is better suited by this longer trip.
Edged out Hoodie Hoo over C&D in October. Yet to fully work his way back to top form in 2026, though looked unsuited by the longer trip when eighth of 11 in handicap at Doncaster (7f, good to firm) 37 days ago. Visor back on. Others more persuasive at present.

Created good impression when making a winning debut at Newcastle (6f) in November. However, she hasn't built on that effort in 4 races this year and remains unproven on turf.
Went the wrong way for Richard Hannon last year but produced by far his most encouraging effort for a while on only third start for current yard when second at Thirsk early last month. Unable to sustain his effort after a slow break when ninth of 14 at York (6f, good to firm) 24 days ago.
Won 6f event on handicap debut at Newcastle in March for George Scott but has made little impression at long odds in 2 starts for current yard.
His last 3 wins have all come over 5f at Newcastle, most recently in March. Went close when third at Wetherby last month but failed to build on that promise at Wolverhampton since and his regular slow starts mean he's tricky to recommend from out of the weights.

Forecasts
Emperor Caradoc (5/4), Sixtygeesbaby (7/2), Hoodie Hoo (5/1), Logi Bear (7/1), Jenever (14/1), Dark Kestrel (16/1), Loquella (20/1), Southern Warrior (25/1)
EMPEROR CARADOC doesn't appear to have anything in opposition quite as unexposed as the rival he chased home here earlier in the month and he can add to his good course record at Nottingham. Hoodie Hoo and Sixtygeesbaby complete the shortlist.
