Fair maiden. Gelded prior to finishing sixth of 9 on handicap debut/return at Yarmouth (1¼m), only matching his previous form despite enjoying the run of the race.

Sea The Moon gelding. Flattered by his proximity to very promising winner on qualifying run at Newmarket (1¼m). Opening mark has suffered as a result, though he should at least appreciate the longer trip.

115,000 gns Zarak gelding. Hood/strong early pace likely contributed to much-improved success at Goodwood last time (second past the post but subsequently promoted). Interesting off only 3 lb higher in a weak handicap, even if the run of the race is less favourable.

Stoutly-bred Wootton Bassett filly. Showed promise in maiden/novice events over shorter. Never placed to justify support on handicap debut at Windsor (11.4f), and she's probably worth another chance with good-value claimer taking over.

Found only one too good for the third successive start when worn down by a stronger stayer at Yarmouth (11.5f, soft) last time. Has been found a thin race up in grade, and he's entitled to go close again.
