Four-time course winner who was very much back on a going day returned to this surface when running out a wide-margin winner over an extended 2m here 9 days ago. No surprise to see him out under a penalty and ought to be firmly in the thick of things again.

Both career wins have come over C&D, latterly when landing 10-runner handicap in April. Possibly found things happening a shade quickly when fifth at Chepstow (1½m, good to firm) latest and better showing anticipated back on all-weather.
Enjoyed a productive winter on all-weather, completing a hat-trick in February. Plenty of creditable efforts in defeat since, latest when second at Beverley (1½m) 4 days ago having struck for home a long way out. Not discounted turned out quickly.
Re-united with this yard prior to landing back-to-back handicap hurdles at around 2m last autumn. Lightly raced since but she showed the benefit of a recent run when finishing close up last of 4 at Market Rasen (17f) 25 days ago. Should be competitive back on the level.
Showed a lot more than previously upped significantly in trip when third on handicap debut at Ffos Las in June. A pair of next-time-out winners emerged from that race and he's best forgiven his latest run here, having a wide trip. Very interesting taking on his elders for the first time.
Masar filly who offered more than previously when fifth on handicap debut here (1½m) 3 weeks ago. This even longer trip worth exploring given how she shaped then and feasible to think she could yet have more to offer at this level.

Forecasts
Havachoc (7/4), The Craftymaster (11/4), Kingston Sunflower (4/1), Mick The Hat (9/2), V Power (11/1), Last Flight (22/1)
MICK THE HAT's handicap debut third at Ffos Las has produced winners and with excuses on his most recent start here, he's well worth another chance to get back on the up now tackling a longer trip. The Craftymaster bolted up over further here 9 days ago and a repeat under a penalty can also see him play a lead role.
