Construction Day 14th October Handicap

Off time: 21:00 | Winning time: 2m 13.50s

(2)

Didaar^p¹⁴

Age: 5| Weight: 9-9| J: Jake Dickson⁽⁷⁾| T: Gihan Arnolda| OR: 65

7/2

Winless in 17 starts and doesn't look an easy ride but he has been given a chance by the handicapper, dipping into 0-65 company for the first time here, and the step back up in trip should suit so he's not without hope.

Form: 3983-67

Holly Mist^b1²⁰

Age: 4| Weight: 9-9| J: Harry Vigors⁽⁵⁾| T: R Varian| OR: 65

9/4

Creditable effort despite not really lasting out the 1½m trip when third of 6 in a handicap at Doncaster 20 days ago. Now back in trip and tries blinkers for the first time, while she also teams up with a good-value claimer so merits respect dropping into 0-65 company

Form: 334553

(3)

Time Turner^v¹²

Age: 4| Weight: 9-8| J: P Mulrennan| T: E Bethell| OR: 64

13/2

Won over 1½m on all-weather at Newcastle in January but flopped under a penalty 8 days later. Off for 5 months before solid fourth of 6 at Musselburgh 12 days ago and can build on that if not inconvenienced by the drop back in trip for thriving yard.

Form: 6-42194

(4)

Stipulation^p¹⁹

Age: 5| Weight: 9-7| J: Ross Coakley| T: D M Loughnane| OR: 63| D

8/1

Consistent on all-weather around the turn of the year and stepped up on return run when sixth of 7 back on turf at Windsor 19 days ago, not getting a clear run. Can prove competitive from current mark.

Form: 53-3386

(6)

Into Combat¹⁴

Age: 4| Weight: 9-5| J: Dylan Hogan| T: Sir Mark Prescott| OR: 61

4/1

Has yet to progress as anticipated since sent handicapping but is entitled to step up on his recent return from 8 months off and step back up in trip could help. Too soon to be writing him off given connections.

Form: 8/6780-0

(8)

Danehill Star^p¹³

Age: 5| Weight: 9-3| J: T Eaves| T: A W Carroll| OR: 59| D

12/1

Last success came on all-weather in March and has since been consistent on turf with 3 in-frame efforts. Yet to win on this surface but likely to give his running for in-form yard.

Form: 221433

(5)

Pride Eye^t¹²⁴

Age: 4| Weight: 8-11| J: Mikey Sheehy| T: M G Rimell| OR: 53

25/1

Won at 66/1 over 1m at Southwell in January but ran below form in both runs since. Returns after 124-day break upped in trip and trying turf for the first time so probably best watched.

Form: 880-107

(1)

Quirke On Parole¹⁸

Age: 4| Weight: 8-8| J: Rhys Elliott⁽⁵⁾| T: M Walford| OR: 50| D

9/1

Has been out of sorts since returning from a 7-month break in April and can't be fancied here.

Form: 257-097

Forecasts

Holly Mist (9/4), Didaar (7/2), Into Combat (4/1), Time Turner (13/2), Stipulation (8/1), Quirke On Parole (9/1), Danehill Star (12/1), Pride Eye (25/1)

TIME TURNER shaped with promise for his in-form yard on recent return from 5 months off and looks a big player in this grade if coping with the drop back in trip. Holly Mist and Didaar both drop into 0-65 company for the first time and are capable of figuring.
